Cud u all please give ur thoughts on ...How bad is it if husband doesnt get involved with the girls family?? or just speak to the wife n not anyone else? Islamically, is dis acceptable? n also, culturally, can a husband get away with doing that? or is it a big NO NO. I think this subject warrants a thread in its own right lol. Diwana Ur right i thought i knew everytin abt relationships but marriage seems like a completely new territory, its like u dn marry d person but the whole family n das d problem for me. I havent got a clue what to do with them but i wil learn.

If you do not want to then no need to be so close to family of her side. Not mandatory. But with time when you have children you will eventually need to.
Before marriage single girls and men are kinda rough, too idealistic, self loving or self centered, and marriage makes them more polished and diplomatic.
Just as a joke: Why do you want to lose the chance of good food and Daawat from her side of family? :-)
