Why should India give them dual citizenship? India isnt a Hindu/Sikh country is it?

Pakistan would be more justified in granting dual citizenship to Indian Muslims then India to Pakistani Sikhs and Hindus.

BJP wants to increase the number of hindus in their census by doing that.. that's exactly what they want.. and it's disappointing that they worry or even care about such stuff in today's world.. i wouldn't care if there were more hindus in the world than muslims.. if that makes any difference ( in my opinion it doesn't)..

I feel and many of you feel the same,we have wasted nearly 65 years in rival activity with India.
Had we spent that time in patching our differences with India I am sure we must have achieved
a better standard of life for the people on both sides.Think hard China is the biggest hurdle in
improving better relations with India as it serves its purpose.China is using us all this time and
we are happily dancing on its tune.Just think and comments.

what is the point of making misleading posts?

the actual news items is that a particular BJP MP from the upper house demanded that hindu/sikh migrants from pakistan who have already been living in india for years/decades should be made indian citizens. under current laws they are technically ineligible.

what you are referring to is his more generic follow-up statement about the OCI scheme. firstly, india does not allow dual citizenship for anybody. the follow-up comment has to do with the "overseas citizen of india" scheme which is already active and applies to foreign indians of all religions and nationalities except pakistan...so this secondary demand is to give an exemption to hindus/sikhs from pakistan who seek an OCI card.

Or allow the Pakistani traitors - whose mouths are stuffed with indian rupee – to carry out heinous indian plans of killing more & more Pakistanis on daily basis. This is probably just a political move but eitherway I do not agree. Pakistan isn't just for muslims. The Kafirs can stay too.

India is not like Isreal - welcoming any Hindu from all over the world and granting them Indian citizenship.

I am guessing this is stemming from recent reports of Hindus and Sikhs being treated badly and hence their wish to move to India as refugees. Well it's not just the Hindus or Sikhs.. even the Muslims in Pakistan are going through a very hard time.. All of Pakistan is..

If Pakistan as a country was prospering and it was only the HIndus or Sikihs getting killed and abused because of their Kafirness then maybe it would make sense for India to accept refugees..
