The areas that the British referred to as India was one united land when the brits took it over in 1857? 1947-1757 is 190 years close to 200 years.
Read your last post and please tell us where did you mention ‘Republic of India’ ?, You only said ‘INDIA’. Anyways FYI, India became a Republic on 26th January 1950 and not 1947. Try reading some history.

The point I was trying to make was that India existed more as a continent than as a country before its independence.
this is getting really funny. 
Without fighting I want to say only India subcontint not full continment. Just like USA one country but Amrica one continent I think so same way you can say India subcontint or one country.
The Point is as a Country India existed before 1947. You should have read that link - That was a free tutorial.
And If I go by your logic - Then there was no Pakistan before 1971.
in some respects pakistan is more of a hindustan than bihar i really mean it.
