I still don't understand why Pakistanis have a problem if Hindi is made an official language in the UN. It's the mother tougue for most of Pakistanis anyway!

Its high time you shut up, even a 5 year old can come with better logic than 'half of pakistan speaks hindi' haha

Once again, same ignorant statement. Which Country did the British rule for over 200 years then ??
^ Thank you so much Asif K it was always my dream to be addressed as ignorant by someone so endowed with it. The areas that the British referred to as India was one united land when the brits took it over in 1857? Also it ain't 200 years but 90 years (1857--1947), but duting the time was the entity referred to as the republic of India??
I dont know which history you have been fed - Here is a 1 minute lesson for you :-
“Robert Clive’s defeat of the Nawab of Bengal at Plassey in 1757 traditionally marks the beginning of the British Empire in India”
1947-1757 is 190 years close to 200 years.
Read your last post and please tell us where did you mention ‘Republic of India’ ?, You only said ‘INDIA’. Anyways FYI, India became a Republic on 26th January 1950 and not 1947. Try reading some history.
Later..Got to go.

The point I was trying to make was that India existed more as a continent than as a country before its independence.
this is getting really funny. ![]()
Without fighting I want to say only India subcontint not full continment. Just like USA one country but Amrica one continent I think so same way you can say India subcontint or one country.
The Point is as a Country India existed before 1947. You should have read that link - That was a free tutorial.
And If I go by your logic - Then there was no Pakistan before 1971.
in some respects pakistan is more of a hindustan than bihar i really mean it.
wasn't this about Hindi as an official UN language??
