Should Head Scarves be banned in Primary Schools?

Re: Should Head Scarves be banned in Primary Schools?

Thats sad :teary2:

Re: Should Head Scarves be banned in Primary Schools?

..............these parents should send these head scarf girls to islami schools .......so they would be very comfortable there and would not be stigmatized any longer and may be their low achievement will be increased like other 95% muslim girls without scarf in main stream schools.

Re: Should Head Scarves be banned in Primary Schools?

where do you get your statistics from?

Re: Should Head Scarves be banned in Primary Schools?

..........My all statistics are from teachers unions circulars and Times educational Supplements, readers digest, BBC news.......and attending on going conferences on these core issues.......

Re: Should Head Scarves be banned in Primary Schools?

.......also by participating in on going research which is not published yet.

Re: Should Head Scarves be banned in Primary Schools?

wow!
but still…sorry coz i dont always take the word of someone and believe in it easily, id need to see the evidences myself to believe it coz i am sooo for them wearing scarfs  that cant be happening everywheree…:ahaa: maybe it was carried out on small samples of children with the most worst kids who are taught to hate little girls with scarfs and daunt them. and maybee the whole research carried out was full of flaws.

Re: Should Head Scarves be banned in Primary Schools?

…Me too sorry…it cant be publish here on internet as its unpublished.
You are not forced to believe.

Re: Should Head Scarves be banned in Primary Schools?

How can you say hijab is not required for little girls of age 4 or 5? May be their parents deem hijab a requirement for them.
How can you deprive parents from their fundamental right of deciding what their girls would wear and what they wouldn't?

For example If I were the father of a 4 year old girl and would make my daughter wear headscarf because of any reasons (which I don't want to share with you), then who can stop me?
I would sue the school if they put a ban on hijab for little girls.

Re: Should Head Scarves be banned in Primary Schools?

**…hahahahaha  **
How funny:bummer:
How many people haved sued Lahore schools for not allowing headscarf?:hoonh:

Re: Should Head Scarves be banned in Primary Schools?

There is a difference between Lahori schools and UK schools, first one are run by desi angrayz and the latter by asli angrayz. desi angrayz are more loyal to angrayz than angrayz themselves, in Urdu we call them shah say zyada shah kay wafa daar.

Re: Should Head Scarves be banned in Primary Schools?

.........kindly go to Lahore and France, start suing schools there first.....:)

Re: Should Head Scarves be banned in Primary Schools?

why does the ban make u happy, it bans hijab for girls in high school, is that right?, does that make u jump for joy, does it make u so happy that girls who wear it by choice get suspended or expelled?

Re: Should Head Scarves be banned in Primary Schools?

..........These girls have option of islami schools and these schools are great and excellent with muslim teachers in head scarves and all muslim girls in head scarves and it is part of their uniform. As they are going to Islami schools in Lahore....simple is that. Its not obligatory from religious point of view.

Re: Should Head Scarves be banned in Primary Schools?

I meant hijab is not required in religion, and I doubt that you have the ability to change religion

as far as depriving parents their fundamental right of what their girl would wear or not, does it apply in reverse too? could parents decide that they dont want their girl to wear kurta shalwaar in Pakistan and have her go in skirt? can a girl walk around without an abbaya in KSA? what about their or their parents fundamental rights to not cover them up in a way that has no basis in religion.

If you were the father of a 4 year old and you wanted her to wear hijab but the school policy did not allow it and you sued, you will not really get anywhere because you have no basis except personal preference.

Re: Should Head Scarves be banned in Primary Schools?

You can't compare KSA with UK as both have different law systems.
I know about my rights as a Muslim and I know that some of my rights are not entertained by British or American State Laws, so I would stay within the circle of law and manipulate that in my favour. Therefore if my kid is going to school wearing a headscarf and suddenly the school imposes a ban on that, then I would have good reasons to sue the school.
And if there is a school where headscarves are already banned, then off course I wouldn't go for such schools, but the starter of this thread is not interested in which you are burning your neurons.

Re: Should Head Scarves be banned in Primary Schools?

how is a personal preference your right as a muslim, islam does not ask for little girls to do hijab. it is something that is goign against your personal choices.

PS your last sentence did not make any sense aside from the fact that it was meant to be rude, could you please explain what you meant ;)
