The economic benefits are one of the main reasons I support legalizing it.

And once its legal, and sold in official outlets only.. the underground marijuana economy will be severely dented. The minors might still be able to get their hands on it, but it won’t be as easy for them cuz the underground network of dealers won’t be as spread and as prosperous as they are now.

Why cant the same logic be applied to other drugs also like heroin, coacaine etc?

Also, for the other drugs, if they remain illegal, would you support less of a punitive approach (locking up in jails) and more of preventative and treatment oriented approach?
