Should Christians Convert Muslims?

Assalam o Aliekum everyone.

Well I just finished reading this article. I feel disgusted at the car salesman like fashion in which these guys are trying to spread thier beliefs. Its almost like they are out to trick people into converting (read the part about Jesus Mosques). What do you guys think. I am trying to focus just on thier tactics and not the belief system. Mods if this is not the proper forum for discussing this, please shift this thread.

Thanks and Regards

And how much success are they having? History is witness from the Spanish Inquisition to the Salem witch trials their modus operandi...I can't see how a faith needs to resort to underhanded tricks to spread its message...

Like impose an onerous tax on non-believers so that they have no choice bu move or convert? Yeah..it has happened.

Matsui Bhaijaan,

The theory that tax benefits for Muslims made people convert to Islam is an idea coined by Muslim and Christian Mullahs. Christian Mullahs don't consider Islam a livable doctrine & try to find ways to justify and explain such a big Muslim population/converts. Muslim Mullahs want to be in power, and this theory of somehow a so-called Islamic government can influence people's belief & this is their pitch to power. They argue if we were in power all the non-Muslims in their country would convert all together because they will see the "beauties" of an Islamic Government.

If such a theory was true, Islam could never have flourished in countries like East Asia or parts or Russia & China. No one invaded the Malays or gave any tax favors to Hui and Uygur.

Ahh and the first ever argument

"Over the next three hours, "Barbara," minus her burqa, dispensed lists of comparisons between Jesus and Muhammad ("Jesus arose from the dead and is alive. Muhammad is dead.") "

Conversion is an act of free will and the Muslim tradition of punishment for both the convert and the messenger puts a burden on those trying to preach the gospel to Muslims. What disgusts me in this article are not the dirty tricks by Christian missionarires, but the arrests, beatings, killings and torture of converts. Are these people that insecure about their faith?

ahmadhee bhai, I am sure there are also people who left islam and converted o christianity if they wanted to. Everyone should have that choice. It doesn't dispel the fact that just as there are used car salesman christian proselytizers, there are camel hereders in Islam that do the same.

I agree!!

AJ, did I ever tell you that you are my favorite ahmadi.

there will always competion for follwers between islam and christianity
whole china may convert to christianity one day.

Well I think there should be a program in Muslim countries to revert these missionaries to Islam. It has a huge potential for success too given what a distorted picture these guys carry in thier heads about Islam.

Christianns of today, have changed the words of God.
The final revelation was Quraan, i.e., Islam. we are to follow the Quraan and teachings of prophet Mohammed(SAW). All Christians and jews need to declare Islam as their faith for no other religion except Islam will be accepted by Allah(swt).

May Allah(swt) guide us all - Ameen

WaSalaam

^ That is one point of view. Another couple of billion people believe that Islam is a man-made religion derived from Muhammed's imagination that uses Judeo-Christian scriptures where Jesus is recognized as a great prophet but His teachings are rejected.

Christians believe that God has provided a way for man's sins to be washed away and forgiven - a way to be made pure and clean in His sight. This way of forgiveness and salvation is through faith and belief in His Son Jesus Christ.

God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

Just like other billions who don't believe in any religion at all or don't consider Moses, Jesus, Mohammed as prophets.

Exactly. I'm not saying one view is more valid than the other.
