There’s your mistake. Religion does not solely define a culture. What about music, art, writing, movies, language, poetry, books, etc? Are these not a part of the culture? Last I checked, the Indian media has a huge influence on Pakistan as well as Muslims in India. They’re not 100% the same, but living in such close proximity means they definitely share a lot of similarities.

Please try to see past religion.
