@Zoab - I think US senators want to take the aid money they now give to Pakistan and use it for other purposes, one of which could be the additional cost you’re talking about. The debt to China doesn’t bother US at all - in fact they welcome China to hold as much of US debt as they can take. No problem. It’s like Japanese buying real estate in America - what are they going to do? take the skyscrapers to Tokyo? Similarly what are chinese gonna do? corner the market on USD and US run out of currency paper?

Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, UTC and a thousand others love wars.

If you live in America you should know that what is **killing American economy is not wars but fleet of manufacturing, social security & medicare entitlements.

**And that, the macro-economist in you should know, **is in a large large part due to too many people living for much longer periods drawing retirement benefits than before and that in-turn is due to advancements in healthcare, living conditions and security.

u r right! these people when get their money, they literally eat it!!! 10 dollar is often used for special candle light dinner where dollar bill is used in place of candle… or may be these people just sit on the money and do not spend it all… i have met few more like you who believes that wars are there for the betterment of humans as it kills many of them and the remaining gets the right on the space of the dead one…
