American authorities report flight MH17 was shot down by a surface to air missile.
All 295 souls on board died. May they rest in peace.
Russians say it was Ukraine.
Ukraine says it was pro russian separatists.
Seperatists claim they dont have access to surface to air missile.

I dont know if pro russian separatists could take down a boeing 777. And why now? The route the plane was travelling is a common euro-asian thoroughfare and no distress signal was sent out.
Which poses the next question; how useful will a blackbox be if there was no distress signal?
There are leaked calls online indicating rebels did it. They captured a BUK missile system last week and paraded it around and which is capable of doing it, they have downed two Ukranian jets in the same area in the last two days and there are transcripts of leaked phone calls and twitter messages by the rebels celebrating what they think is downing a Ukranian plane.
And all of the said evidence ie twitter is being deleted in the last few hours. And the phone calls between rebel leaders where they express annoyance that it was a civilian liner is on YouTube I think
it sounds and looks like the repeat of Korean Air’s shooting by Russians over Kamchatka Islads which are chain of Islands on Russia east coast and houses some of Russia’s very sensitive military bases. Russians then had denied they shot the flight down but later when Americans played the audio in the UN they had no choice but to admit it…however they claimed that the Korean flight was on a spy mission and had veered off it’s path and did not respond to repeated warnings.
there might be similar revelations later that Russians indeed shot it down.
