Has anyone gone from long hairstyles to short bob hair? I recently got very short hair and I like it but feel very differently like my personality has changed. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yeah i had long hair near enough up to my hips. Was so nice, and i stupidly got it cut right up to my neck. Was awful, I hated it so much i jus wore extensions. Thankfully its grown now, Its been almost a year! I will never ever cut it short again ever. If you dont like it hun i really suggest getting hair extensions. You can get clip in ones if you dont wanna get them glued it, Or sow them in thats better than glueing them.

But yea.. i know what you are talking about coolgirl ... with me this occurred when I would dramatically change the color of my hair.. I literally felt like another person. ha.. not that it was a good or bad thing. A person's overall look changes so much that it is natural for one to feel this way!
My sister cut her very long hair to a short stylish bob and it looks fantastic on her... she tells me that she feels more confident .. probably because she feels more like a fashionista. She said she was like plain jane now and now feels like the complete opposite. So this can happen :)
I'v always had long hair but just recently i went to my dresser and told her to do whatever she wanted to it..I wanted to go short. I LOVE MY HAIR! alot of people have been telling me that it's "the racheal" from friends cut haha..anyways, i am loving it..and don't really miss my long hair. Next I want to get that cute angle cut bob :D and you are right about feeling different...I feel more ...diva'ish and spunky.

I have had very short hair for last ten years and am growing my hair now and yes I started feeling different too. I guess it is the change which makes you feel different.

Last August i had 14 inches of my hair cut off (i was pregnant and all that hair was giving me "hafki") and i was left with a cute little bob. My hair grows back pretty quickly so i wasn't worried about losing all that hair...
Like you said, coolgirl, you do feel different. It was nice to have such a drastic transformation... clichéd but honestly, i felt like a new woman!
exactly.. I feel like i have confidence now.. I like to get dressed in the morning and look nice for my hubby! and he has noticed this as well.. I think it has a big impact on your personality the kind of hairstyle you carry. Many people have told me I look younger and hey I can't hear that enough :)
I went in the opposite direction from v.short and shaved up the back (like Victoria Beckham's when it was blonde) to down to my elbows super big hair lol.. Still got the long hair but in the Summer I do miss the breeze on the back of my neck..with it this long and thick if I put it up I tend to look like My Little Pony :D

Ive got long hair at the moment. I wanna cut it to a bob but I'm afraid once I get it cut I'm gonna regret it :(
