I was pretty excited to get a haircut because I was planning on getting side bangs after a long time and I really thought it would be give me a fresh look.
However the hair dresser cut them too short 
All the excitement turned into a disaster leading on to depression -_-
My friends and family say they dont look bad but I will definately need to grow them out for them to look nicer.
People have been telling me bangs do generally grow faster, is this true? How fast will it take.. would they be ok within 2 weeks time.. until than im just planning to have them pinned up (its hard to do that even) or just twist them to the side and blend them in with my hair.
What else can I do.. NOTHING really right? except for waiting?

It depends how fast your hair grows. I love the look of side bangs, but once I get them done I cant handle them and I find them annoying in my face all the time, so I usually just pin them up on the side or something. Last time I had them done was in april, and now its pretty much grown out. So I guess .. 4 months time for me at least .. but my hair grows like a snail walks! .. Look at the bright side, its just hair and will grown out eventually.
Had a touch up done few weeks back and I was about to tell the hairdresser that I wanted side bangs again, but controlled myself. I dont know what happens to me when I sit in that hair haha!
