My view, absolutely, his efforts have made this topic a much more public one than it had ever been.

for people who say he did not why do you think so? things that i have heard against him are that its fluff or some of the info is not scientifically proven.
My view is that fine, some of the assertions may not be scientifically proven (currently) but the need is making it into an issue that is front and center for the world at large, and I think he did that.
zobia: poster number 10 can still respond, actually poster #10 has 2 big things, he/she has teh final word on this topic, and has the ability to start a new one.

topic: what one thing can change the status of Pakistan, from tenth world (so-called third world) to developed nation? (i mean what human factors makes western countries developed nations?)
my answer- big fishes are only aware of what they are doing. rest of the nations are just lakeer k fakeer (so following the orders, day and night). so no fight for throne actually exist in these countries.

I know a lot of people will mention a lot of factors. But we need our brains to stay in pakistan to have a shot at being a developed nation. The constant brain drain is not helping matters.

Or develop better opportunities back at home , so the drained brain could go back , as happened in India’s case.

no...he could have done more when he is VP. but then he was taking money from the same companies he is going against now. besides who gives a hoot about what he or millions of loonie toons like him think about environment. USA will never sign any pacts to undermine its economical growth. infact even canada is not interested in joining the league of environment lamers and sign any useless pacts.

it is always that political catch 22 that politicians play, who nominated, for what, when and how, also what his novel ideas for teen t.v. on issues of global warming and happiness etc., really achieved?
all of that goes into his nomination, if an objective assessment is done, together with his years of active political history and blunders, successes and redeeming walk out of the campaign for reasons he knows or knew.
american political scene is very crafty.
they are all vested in their face keeping so much so that they are very unpredictable, always and that is all the more reason that democracy gets beat at its claimed birthplace.
