you mean thin gravy , right?

This is how you do it :

Prepare the usual basic masala for the salan ( frying onions, add garlic ,ginger , meat or vegetable , tomatoes etc ) … just make sure you take a little more then usual onion , for example I like to use 3 onions when i am planning to make thin gravy … and I blend them into a fine paste in the blender , before starting to fry them …

When you add the tomatoes , you blend them into a paste as well … when the tomatoes are nicely bhuno’ed … at that point you add two or three glasses of water in the salan …

Remember , this is the only time you can add water into the salan , if you want good gravy … if you add more water later on in the process , the water will remain separate and uncooked … ..

Once the water has been added , lower the heat and leave the salan , with the lid on .. for a good half hour .. dont have to stir it more then once … you will notice that water will mix very well with the masala and have a nice layer of oil on top .. this means that the gravy is ready…
