Re: Shopping in U.S.???

For Clothes, handbags, shoes, stuff for your home try these
Macy’s Macy’s - Clothing, Shoes, Bed & Bath, Kitchen, Beauty Brands & Sunglasses
Neiman Marcus
Barney’s New York (North Park Center Mall)
Dillards Dillard’s - The Style of Your Life - Fashion’s best apparel, shoe and beauty brands
Nordstrom Nordstrom: Designer Collections and Top Apparel, Shoe and Beauty Brands
DSW for shoes (great prices) some malls in dallas have a DSW warehouse.
DSW Home

Just go to the website and type in your zip code (where you will be staying) it will show you the stores in your area.
or you can try individual stores at the malls..I would suggest these
The Gap
Ann Taylor Loft
Banana Republic
Express
Guess
Burlington Coat Factory has awesome coats

Home stuff
Bed Bath & Beyond
Linen & Things
macy’s/dillards

Heres a list of all the Malls in DFW area

Re: Shopping in U.S.???

hmm thats really helpful.. thanks alottttttttttt 2 everyone
whats the difference between European & American clothes beside Jean’s style?
All of my inlaws living in U.S & cousins in Canada is saying don’t shop anything frm Pakistan except formal shalvar kameez, rest everything Bags, shoes, cosmetics, sleepwear, bedspread, western clothes, towels & bath robe etc buy all the stuff from U.S. but I’m not much sure if I’ll like american shoes & bags  since I like more of european & turkish stuff :frowning:
but do I have to wear same as all those Americans or can I wear my european clothes too, or it will just look too awkward to wear those long skirts, long shirts (Turkish made) & denim bags etc??

Re: Shopping in U.S.???

& one more thing.. whats in for the shoes? I have bought a pair of Black sandle but they r pointed from the front, so is it still in fashion there or just got outdated..or never been in?? :(

No problem white roses!

Re: Shopping in U.S.???

WR i wouldnt recommend going to Europe...why pay double?? plus whatever you can get in Europe is available here in the US!! at a LOT better prices!!

Re: Shopping in U.S.???

I live in Houston and we bought our furniture from Gallery Furniture of Houston. I am not sure if they have a store in Dallas but you can visit their website. Their prices are a bit more than other stores but the qualify of their furniture is good.

As for the shopping other stuff (clothes, jewelry, make-up etc.), I would recommend department stores (Macys, Dillards, etc.). Galleria mall of Houston is a very big and nice mall and it has A LOT of designer/brand stores for EVERYTHING.

Re: Shopping in U.S.???

I wish they had a Dillards in midwest. I so love dillards shoe and bags section.

Re: Shopping in U.S.???

beware of consumer bug. buy only what you need.
:>

Re: Shopping in U.S.???

DSW for shoes, and I also like New York & Co.

Bed, Bath and Beyond is good for small kitchen appliances ,and bathroom stuff.

And dont feel it beneath yourself to go to Walmart for small items like cleaning supplies, toaster, microwave, towelettes, everyday socks...

For electronics: Best Buy
