Hi everyone
I am going to Dubai in two weeks and would like some pointers of where to buy loose material or ready made suits in or around Bur Dubai. Also any advice on buying gold in Dubai would be very useful as this will be our first visit there.

There are lots of shopd in deira and bur dubai to buy loose material...u can find some good material in shop callled Rati..and there are many more shops around it which sells good material at good prices........plus u can find loose material in Al_gurair centre...but it will be bit xpensive...
Regarding gold...u'l find hundreds of shop in Gold Shouk...there are now two gold shouks one is called OLD GOLD SHOUK...OTher calls New G.S...i personally like old one...after all old is gold...only difference is new is centrally air conditioned and old is not....mostly there is only indian jewellery...i like shataf's stuff..maybe coz i go to him whenever i go:) but lot more u can seee urself...there is also some gold shops in dubai city centre.but mostly all ..regaulkar shopping can be done from there..the famous ARY GOLD Jewellery shop is in city centre ...plus it always fun to go to city centre...always makes you feel xcieted abt shopping ..anyways...there is damas from where u can buy good stuff especially in diamonds...
In short there are so many malls there that ur saty will be over before u know when u'll start seeing malls around...but def. a place tp visit...as its an international city.......

Dubai is a big mall. Plenty of Gold Souks everywhere.
