This may have been discussed in the past but since I’m new here, don’t really know about it. It’s not a survey or anything, just curious about other perople’s shopping habits.
Do you like to shop by yourself or with someones to give you suggestions?
Do you think about your purchase carefully or are you an impulsive buyer?
Do you go around all of the shops to see what’s out there before you buy it or do you only shop at certain places like Next/New Look/Dorothy Perkins etc. ?
Any weird shopping habits? Mine is really annoying. I buy everything I like, bring it home, try it on a million times, analyze it from every single angle and then take it back to the shop.
I try and go round all the shops but if I don't have time usually just Selfridges as they have practically everything in one place and I can park in there as well (and they'll wash it whilst u shop :)) I usually take someone with me but I don't mind shopping on my own either, sometimes if I'm after something specific it's easier that way anyway..
i hate shoppin on my own i always take my friends n take there suggestions n then buy ... n i always buy wott i lyk n dont bother checkin in other shops ...
I'm very picky, no matter whether shopping for myself or somebody else. But if i like something then i have to buy it otherwise it wl be on my mind 24/7 and irritate the hell out of me. And if i like something then its always an instant liking and since i am picky i do have my fave shops i buy from so it saves me time to shop around. However i am always willing to chk out new stores and shopping malls.
Its always nice to have company when ur shopping but i like what i like and most of the time i dont need the others opinion cuz i do have a unique choice and it doesnt bother me if somebody likes my stuff or not. Usually what i am buying my fam wl tell me its alrite but when i wear it or use it they wl be like...wow, thats fantastic. Lolz, so like i can pick a very unique thing from a bundle of stuff and it mite or mite nt be something that would strike the other person but when i carry it then thanks to Allah i always get compliments for it. So i am very independent on my choice but few times when i m tossed between 2-3 things then i wud ask my fam for their opinion.
I always go shopping alone. I find it annoying to have to coordinate when people are running in different directions looking for stuff for themselves, while trying to communicate. I am one hell of a picky shopper. I am so picky that I barely buy anything. Plus another person's opinion only confuses me more.
Once my SO's sister came shopping with me because we didn't have a lot of time to hang out. I found that in order to not annoy her, I actually BOUGHT stuff. I bought stuff that I liked, had doubts about some of the stuff but bought them anyway. I didn't regret any of my buys. So maybe that is a good way of handling my perfectionism about clothes; bring someone along so that I have to be considerate.
