There are often times when we are travelling and its namaaz time. I read ny namaaz in the car and take my shoes off. However, last time i did that my husband said that you dont need to…who is right?

Your husband is right it depends on the situation. If you pray in the car you do not have to take your shoes off. If you are praying on a Ja Namaz ( prayer rug) obviously you would not pray on it with your shoes on.

You can pray with shoes, as long as they are clean
