"Poor" Malik? The guy is a snake. He knows he doesn't deserve to be in the side, and thus keeps playing lalloo panjoo players as reserves instead of the real talent out there (that can easily replace his limited ability as a cricketer). I hope and pray that Ayesha's parents make him pay through the nose for this fraud.

Even though im not impressed with Malik's captaincy and certainly dont want to see him playing test matches at the cost of much better batsmen than him, I don't believe this story from Ayesha's family.
My uncle has had a few encounters with Malik in Abu Dhabi and Malik is a very smart and cunning personality. He doesnt come across as that while playing cricket but...in urdu terms, he is very 'chalaak'. I doubt he would make such a silly mistake of marrying someone over the phone just cuz they chatted and exchanged pics over the net. It doesnt sound right...especially from the pics we've seen of the girl....Malik can't be this desperete :D
To me, it seems the girl probably sent a different pic on the net, and they probably chatted or talked on the phone and u know...'pyaar mohabbat wali baatein'...and probably decided to get engaged when the team went to India. I remember the team going to the girls house and all...but we heard nothing after that...supposedly it was an engagement.
Probably after seeing the real girl...Malik must have decided to call everything off...and the girl heartbroken, is now doing this topi drama. The biggest thing is, the father of the girl keeps claiming the marriage took place and he has proof...but he is yet to show the proof. I can gaurantee you, if he had solid proof, he would have showin it by now.
Either way, I hope whoever is lieing...he/she gets the punishment for it.

i remember some time ago geo did a short news report on his marriage and although i dont think they should his 'wife' they did show him at his 'in-laws' and the girls sister was saying we want privacy or sum rubbish like that, i cant really that well but i am pretty sure they did show it.

All this because he was made captain against the devine indication for Mr. Akhtar. If Malik didnot raise his game in Tests, he will be eradicated like Razzaq for good. With all the new blood showing spirited display of talent. Its a matter of time when new lot will replace all the bharti ka samaan, including Danesh, Kamran and Butt. They were always make shift for me as we didn't have process to spot and evaluate new talent in recent past.
On the other hand the sour grapes Akhtar, could never be a good captain. Too much of ego would have destroyed the team. Take an example of humble dictator, Inzi. If Malik needs to justify his place right now, Akhtar would have been ocassional captain anyways, since he misses more matches than he plays. All this talk about Imran Khan being a playboy/khur-dimaagh turned into great leader, is bull****. Akhtar lacks intelligence and passion for the game, which Khan saab possessed.

i also remember a story by geo, where malik got engaged or something with this ayesha siddiqui. then i see another story on geo few days back where he is saying he was shown a different photo on the internet and the girl he will sue etc. this is stupid

In his interview, he did mention about this girl but no marriage took place.. but for some reason, i have a feeling that something did happen and he is hiding it. He probably just dumped her after seeing her so fat..
