hi just wondering what the latest styles in shoes are in pak?
i want to take a present for a friend and shes mad about shoes…are metallics (silver/gold etc) still in fashion there? pointy or open toe?

When I went in December 05, shoes with all sorts of stone work was really in. Not sure about now though.
Although I would think that peep-toe shoes would look really cute with shalwar kameez. :)

ya peep toe for sure...when i go to lahore now...i am so taking my crocs...watch within a few months everyoneeeeee will be wearing crocs in every color

ehen...in feb it was all pointed toes. and i was like...it's too old fashioned. but they were crazy about it.

oh no...they're wearing it all types of bottoms. pajamas and shalwars and stuff.

I am not a fan of the pointed toe, it feels like a safety mechanism for the ladies...just aim and shoot.

^ i agree with u…closed toe dont look as good as the other strappy sandals do with shalwars…i like high heeled strappy sandals with lots of coloured crystals matching the outfit..:halo:

pointy toes look fab with kamiz and straight pants, the longer the pants the longer the heel u can get away with.
u can also get her kitten heels (open toe, peep toe or strappy) they go very well with shalwars.

not as of yet. more like natural, bright colros. with motis and stuff. but now metallics have started here...so i'm not sure if they havebeen introduced there as well.

i thnk these r old fashioned for pakistanies galz the same style open fronm the back i mean fron anckle can b use in winters only.pakistani galz like to wear flat shoes mostly matching n often little shining butifully n there is huge collection of flat shoes n for party purpose heels r in use but the style u hv sent i thnk its ok only for anties.dont mind plz..

i dnt think they are for aunties as ive seen all the celebs, models n presenters wearin them on t.v, mags and on catwalks in pakistan, flats r ok for everyday wear but not as a present also if i took her flats it wouldnt be anythin special as like you said there is a huge variety in pak

I think those pretty ballet style flats look nice with a casual shalwar kameez.
