Yes you are right, in war people kill each other.
but have you seen the photos, i mean once enemy surrenders you cant humilate him. you cant make them naked and make fun of them for sure. Its better to kill then to treat them like this.
why does usa cry about geneva convention when any of their surrendered soilder is shown on tv.
you fight with armed people , thats a war. you kill for your existance, thats a war but if you pile naked soilders on each other and humilate them then it is not a war. not in my opinion.
i couldnt make it past the 3rd pic... its just horrible.
The photos are barbaric and animalistic. You can only shake your head and ask why.
The damaged caused by these soldiers to not only these Iraqis but to their own country (America) is massive. Those who committed such acts and those in the hierarchy of the U.S. Defense Department will be held responsible for such grotesque behavior.
the thing is, this stuff happens all the time, but for once its actually been reported.. God bless the people who've spoken up.
I just feel great pain for those family members who are related to these so called war criminals
Imdad, shame on you for prostitution of your soul. Even, americans who were/are for this war are condemning these acts and you are trying to justify them. Shame on you.
Kaleem I would like to make a distinction. The photos are all emcompassive. Th stuff int he prison is abominable., the Apache footage and the pics are nothing for us to be ashamed about.
^ he was talking to americans (which is wrong)... not you....you guju boy
^HAHA!.... Good one!
american justice @ large, hail the american way of life ![]()
Absolutely luc, those responsible will be brought to justice. These rotten apples will be found and pitched. The American way of life is where you are held accountable for your actions and there consequences.

From a legal standpoint, the killing of the first 2 guys in the Apache video is pretty clear cut. From the radio chatter in the video (I have the full extended version on my hard drive), it is clear that the US forces had reason to believe that they were carrying weapons for drop-off in the field and thus there is no doubt under the Geneva convention that they were valid military targets.
The 3rd guy is much cloudier. What you have is an injured man, incapable of standing and having to drag himself along the ground with his arms, who poses no threat to any Coalition forces in the vicinity, being killed.
This latter death can be argued to be a war crime, whereas it is difficult to do the same for the first 2 deaths.
^ smarta$$ y cant you people get . Matsui was trying to say “american citizens” (people from the america) have nothing to be ashamed about. Its the bloody armed forces that should be ashamed and appologize to the whole freakin world for doing what they did. Matsui wasnt the one controlling the apache. Heck he doesnt even have hand to eye coordination to play his dandeeyan (the gujew dance ) correctly.
S.H.O.C.K.E.D here ![]()
This is a mixed up thread (intentionally so or unintentionally). The video footage of the Gunship targetting and killing combatants is the subject of the thread. There is nothing shocking about it at all. The pictures of the prisoner abuse is totally separate and distinct.

I disagree. There is nothing shocking about 66% of the fatalities inflicted in the video. 33% is very questionable, however.

Well myvoice, if you think this thread is mixed up then it is purely unintentionally. i just found both the links on a same webpage hence i posted it.
As i said before, everything is fair in war, you kill and get killed. no rules if you are fighting.
and prisoner abuse is something not fair at all. This is just a tip of the iceberg. i have read reports of severe abuses. this is totally unacceptable.
do you remember any case of iraqi's abusing or humilating american prisoners? i dont think so.
here i want to make a point that i am not taking side of neither americans nor iraqis, i am just taking side of humanity.
Yes. Since there were so few American prisoners taken during the war itself by the Iraqis, you didn’t find piles of naked bodies simulating sex. But the very first pictures used as propoganda by the Iraqis showed abuse of both the living and the dead Americans in custody of Iraqi forces.
Since the end of the war, the brave freedom fighters have abused Americans and anyone else they happen to capture and kidnap. Or do you forget that they kill them, mutilate them, dismember them, hang them from bridges, and drag them through the streets. I categorize that as “abuse and humiliation.”
None of that justifies or excuses what the Americans did to these Iraqi prisoners. A large part of the reason I feel comfortable giving my support for sending young Americans to foreign lands to fight and die is that they are engaged in a moral and rightful cause and that we will not be dragged down into committing the type of evil that our enemies are. If we will be no better than those we are fighting against, then I don’t want to see any young American spill his/her blood on foreign soil. ** The hundreds of Americans who have died in Iraq and the many thousands who have been injured didn’t willingly sacrifice themselves so that some sh*thead GI could photograph a naked Iraqi prisoner masturbating. ** ![]()
