no wonder we have so much mess in pakistan today… this part of pak army and ISI cannot be supported…but yes we admire and appreciate all sacrifices by army at borders
This collateral damage has cost us over 70000 people and still going on. The country has been brainwashed for good. It seems as if he has not borne the brunt of this war, he should say this in front of afghans or tribals.

The foreign policy was a mistake, it wouldn't harm us if we admit that it was a blunder. In the end we couldn't get Kashmir or Afghanistan, and our own country is on the verge of collapse.
i do not support our afghan policy starting from 79, looking back I think it would have been wiser to stay neutral. The threat from USSR I think was hyper inflated, which could easily have been sorted out if we had improved our relationship with them.
The main reason was the pashtunistan movement and the support Afghanistan under daud was providing. It was actually during bhuttos time when the establishment started arming afghan rebels. Pakistan played a role in daud's overthrow in 78. Afghan war started in 79.
in what capacity is this retired general answering all these questions at an international forum and maligning pakistan, its army and ISI by his stupid answers.........
there should be some protocol for our retired generals to keep their mouth shut.

US Generals do not kill their own country men. They are loyal and professional soldiers who defend their country.
Unlike Pak, where the Generals have looted, killed and destroyed their own country.
US Generals are the same, they got their forces butchered, they promote drug trade all in for their personal gains..

It's a routine procedure now that these "hero" of nation do whatever they want when they are in service and then retire and unearth all the revelations that we once reject considering it as conspiracy theory.
