Shoaib shooting for 100 mph again?

Just a comment...In any case the ICC better not have any problems against Shohaib, cause Brett Lee has the same problem and never heard of him being called...

I believe Brett worked on his action after the ICC advised him to...could be wrong.

Exactly who has been 'playing' him these days? My prediction is that he'll get walloped in NZ and creamed by India in March. The Kiwis are used to better accuracy in the form of Bond. It's easy to spoil Shoaib's line and length in just one over as Sachin proved. His mood too.

But he definitely is a brand name...not a very useful one, but a glamorous one.

Please don't show your ignorance about cricket AGAIN.
Did you see Shoaib destroy the South Africans in the recently concluded test series.
He was dead accurate on flat pitch against a quality opposition.

And as for your predictions, only time will tell.

Quality opposition..?? Not as quality as NZ, Aus, Ind and Eng currently. You won't have to wait too long for my predictions to come true..:)

Oh come on Karina, do you seriously think that NZ and England have a better batting side than SA.

Have you ever seen South Africa play?

^ ROFL

prediction karina, Oh U make prediction too  i thought only hopeing for good luck coz u r good guys, was the only thing u could do.

Karina, that was dumb indeed… I lost all cricketing respect I had for you when you said that about the Saffie batting line up!

And yes, the way Shoiab is bowling these days, even the first ball Tendulkar massacre looks too easy now… And you think the Indian team in Pakistan stands a chance? His reverse swinging the ball too, for he is the undisputed Sultan of Swing right now, and you know how it is when a bowler reverse swings… As him getting walloped by Kiwis :hehe: in NZ, do you remember who won us the series against Australia (in Australia) last year? Does a 5 wicket haul ring a bell?

Karina, you are totally off with that comment. In my estimation Shoiab is probably the top fast bowler in the world right now with his current form. He absolutely manhandled South Africa, you can't judge him on a few overs he bowled against India in the World Cup. You easily forget he singlehandedly defeated the Aussies in Oz last year.
Also there is absolutely NO way you can say that Englad and NZ are better batting sides that SA. (I would judge SA to be on par with India batting wise).
To underestimate SA so much just shows a lack of Cricket knowledge.

Don’t be a prig, Spock. Anybody but you. :nono:

Judging from you response on the ‘free Asif’ thread you have already discussed Shoaib with Asif_K. Know that I concur with whatever he says.

ciao

What if he admitted Shoiab was the best bowler today? Will you agree then?

Secondly who cares what you say, Shoaib doesnt need your nod or appreciation to be deadly. Agreed Tendulkar smashed him all over in March but he is the same bowler that uprooted his stumps on the first ball in the Test in India. Shoaib has a strike rate and average that would be considered legendry by Indian standards, so you can be happay calling Shoaib ordinary and Zaheer and Nehra legendry, it would just keep proving what a great cricketing sense Indians have ;)

Agreed with LM, he has helped us win alot of matches. Who else can reverse swing the ball while maintaining 150Kph?

:hehe: :hehe: they never learn unless you show them a mirror. Goodone LM
