Its would not be the 1st time had they taken a ‘recovering’ player on an important tour.

Ofcourse, it happened in the past, and personally I believe this is a bad policy. The team doesn’t get a fully fit player, and the player may aggrevate his injury to cause more long term damage. Its a lose-lose.

It has been a while since PCB and pros discovered the “New Ploy” of telling the Media of a players condition using the ‘Injury Card’ instead of coming out with penalizing details and investigation results. (forget that as well also)

They just don’t want some one to think/act/behave above their heads as that would be the sin of the century. (National Hockey mentality seeping through day by day)

I am not sure I understand any of it. Either Shoaib is fully fit, or he is not fully fit. You seem to suggest that he is fully fit, and the management doesn’t want him to tour with the team so they are coming in with false claims about his unfitness. Is there anything to back up this claim, except a personal conjecture?

Yes! I do refuse to accept that the whole setup of team selection is transparent as they claim.

Transparency is good. But what is even better, and wanted, is to select 15 of our most talented players available, who are fully fit, and who can take the rigours of a difficult tour.

No one here will be willing to go out on a limb to defend Bari, so its a moot point.

Actually I don’t worry about his idiotic/pathetic/immoral ways of living his ****ty life. I doubt if anyone else here does either. If he is fit, and is committed to give his 100% to the team as a team player, he should be in. But if either of these two ingredients is missing, he should not be in the team. His partying, and his other night activities are irrelevant for this discussion.
