A letter to the editor in DAWN :
While visiting a hospital for cancer-stricken children recently in Mumbai, Shoaib Akhtar reportedly commented: “It is a lifetime opportunity for these kids that I am here with them.” Humility, anyone?

man, don’t take this moron seriously. I’m sure if medical/psych tests were conducted on this dude, they would reveal that his mental age is not more than 5 years (tops). what an absolute embarassment. retard.
maybe the PCB should implement a policy of requiring a minimum IQ of its potential players?

The guy isnt as big a dickhead as his comments make him out to be...
why?
because when this guy tries to talk in english, he hasnt got a clue about what hes saying, and what it means. Its a mental complex, the made up fake accent, and just babbling on and on, without realizing what hes saying.
I have no doubt about the above explanation.
Only yesterday, I was at a mate's place and he had some indian channel on, and this news guy was interviewing shoaib on the fone...
The guy sounded like a very mature and sensible person (to my surprise). Handled all questions very very sensibly and humbly... the key... it was in urdu.
The bottom line is,,, its his poor english and his expression in it. If only he could just stick to urdu! I feel sorry for him.

And Shoaib is best of them all! Imagine how difficult it is for others to speak communicate in English. During a post ODI interview, someone asked Sboaib a question; Shoaib started babbling and ranting away and I started yelling: WTF!!! & STFU!!!!!
Shoaib is a dickwad who urgently needs a bitchslapping by the entire team!
