So who watched it? I absolutely loved it. This to me is pure test cricket at it’s best. A fierce competition between a world class fast bowler and an inform top order batsman of a world class team.
It was just exhilirating. I had to rewind the tape 6 times this morning to watch the over ball-by-ball. The whole stadium was erupting with laughter when Shoaib did the girlie, "ohhh i am so hurt’ act to Langer at the top of his bowling mark.
Shoaib is very entertaining. He comes up with the best gestures. He reminds me of cricket greats such as Dennis Lillee, Merv Hughes, Javed Miandad, Viv Richards, and Ian Botham.
Yeah it was fun watching. I liked the deliveries that Shoaib bowled very intelligently. He engaged Langer completely in surprise as to what will be the next delivery like. It was a complete show of surprises. Langer enjoyed it as well. He even got hit on hand after that bouncer that he ducked timely. Also he waved his hand to show that it was a no ball since he already bowled bouncer in that over.
