According to BBC text Shoaib Akhtar will be missing the Morocco series but will take part in the triangular series in Kenya later this month.
So i guess this means that the pay dispute has been resolved or maybe he was really injured.
Any how Shoaib is back in the team and hopefully will continue that same devastating form he delivered against the Aussies recently.
Is it? Are we suppose to jump up and down with joy everytime he decides to join the squad. He should realise that he has a responsibility towards the team.If he is injured then fair enough, but if he is walking out because he feels he needs to make more money than I am afraid that, I for one cannot approve of such cheap behaviour.

I don't agree w/ ppl criticizing Shoaib!!
Our Pakistani Captain Waqr Yunis is not far behind in criticizing shoaib.. but forgot about his own county days!!(he use to earn ~100,000 ponds per session)
Shaoib is a Genuine Fast bowler.. it's not easy to diliver bowls @151+km/h...this is one hard working effort.. the guys(Shoaib) whould not be able to maintain this pace for long... also he is a professional crickter.. Bowling fast is his way of living--he should be allowed to benefit from his talent!!
let him have some fun!! all i care--is to see him bowling his heart out in World cup!!

Like your approval matters!
The guy is the most exciting player in the world.
Ofcourse us Pakistani fans will jump up and down everytime he plays for the Pakistani team.
You can't help it!
Not that I support his decision.
If that guy is being critized for playing for a county and not his country than why not Saqlain or Razzaq?
They just like Shoaib ditched their country for money.
GREAT!
he kicked aussie butt big time in june!

hell yeah!!!
I dont care if ppl call him arrogant, or show-off... He knows how to take out that middle stump in style and speed, and that what matters the most!!!
The Rawalpindi express will run wild on the Aussies once again
I think the people who are questioning Shoaib's commitment to our team should first look at Saqlain Mushtaq. He has repeatedly - year after year - put Surrey above playing for Pakistan.
If Saqlain can waltz into the team whenever he wants, despite putting money and Surrey over Pakistan - then why should Shoaib be treated differently?
All this criticism is unfair on Shoaib. Pehley Saqlain ko theek karao phir Shoaib kee baat karo.

I thought this was a discussion board where you are supposed to give your opinion. Xpress if my approval doesnt matter do you think your support or otherwise matters.
What you are saying is that a player can walk out on the team whenever he likes and we are suppose to say fine. As for Razzaq and Saqlain, well two wrongs do not make a right. You are saying Shoaib is justifying in doing what he has done because some one else did it. Going by that logic tomorrow someone else will walk out of the team whenever they like. Is this an acceptable behaviour, regardless of how good a player he is? Remember he is what he is because of the pakistan team and not the other way round.
Having said that, I think the PCB took the right step recently by declaring that contracts will be issued to players guaranteeing them a certain amount of remuneration.
