Not surprised that Shiv Sena are again jumping up and down
Correct me if I am wrong but Shahrukh said something like....'Yes there are issues between our two countries, we blame them every day and they blame us every day but even if we did not want Pakistani players to play in IPL, we could have done so in a more respectful manner'....now what is wrong with this?
SRK then went on to say....'I personally felt humiliated because my father (and his side of the family all) hail from Pakistan.....this is probably what's bugging Shiv Sena!
but what's so wrong with even this statement? Are you not allowed to speak your mind in 'secular' India.
Shahrukh's example clearly illustrates that no matter how much you become rich or successful as a muslim, you still cannot freely express your views (however thoughtful or considerate) in public....your loyalty to the state will always be questioned by hardliners if you say anything that does not match their line of thinking
