SOOO…super long shirts…are they a go or no go these days?
I havent even gotten a chance to wear them yet!!!

I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the short shirts and pant combos of just a few months ago. I haven't even had a chance to wear them more than a couple of times.

Long flowing shirts are THE trend at the moment. Especially if paired with straight long trousers. I'm shocked at the trend since everyone has done it. I just saw the new collections from the new fashion week and all the designers are doing the long shirts. I'm loving the dresses too. It's all long this season so PS2, I'd stick with those.
As for the short shirts from before, you could always pair 'em with skinnies? I'd do that.
I went to Macy’s a few days ago…and saw long shorts (tunic type) in the Junior’s section and in the one for older women as well.
I bought two long tank tops…that I wear a shrug over. I wear this on top of jeans…I wear it to work on top of dress pants. I like it. I think that some styles are neutral enough to pulled of at any time…it’s like they can’t be entirely “out” of fashion. Like jeans…are always “In.” Even if the particular trend at the moment might be “skinny jeans”…you’re not committing a fashion crime if you wear jeans that are not “skinny.” KWIM?
I’ll buy something long and flowy like this tank top…and put a shrug over it.

In general, yes, long shirts/tanks/tops seem to be in at the moment.

yes, im always ahead of trend a anyway, i was wearing long shirts with trousers a good year or so ago.....just because i wanted a change, the short kameezey were making me feel odd...plus back then i was on a mission to lose weight for wedding, and as i had put on abit of weight prior to that, i began wearing longer tops to make me look slimmer.

long shirts with tousers are in i guess and look good but i am not sure if i would want to wear long length kameezes with shalwar. They make u look so much like a khamba.no?

my mom says longer shirts make u look older...which i didn't really understand but anyhoo i think when you pair the long shirts with trouser it looks better.

Long shirts and culllottes have to be the coolest trend so far ( so were the patiala shalwars and short shirts 
)

I think long shirts look great paired with skinny jeans and flip flops or flats.
I got my first long shirt made back in 08 with pants and have loved it ever since....plus point, it makes you look taller and slimmer...

Exactly! I love, LOVE the short shirt w/ a patiala shalwar. I'm still wearing it when I go to Lahore to lounge around the house. I think the short shirt with a loose shalwar look is pretty timeless. Especially for the younger women.

My mom heard Sana Safinaz tell in an interview that really short shirts will be back in fashion next year!

so its mean this year long shirts will remain in...nd next year they will replace by short shirts

but short shirts were in for a while...so i'm sure long shirts will be too. and of course knee length is never out of fashion
