I think I read in one of the topics that people ship their wedding shopping stuff from pakistan to where ever they live, states/canada etc. Has anyone worked with a shipping company in pakistan recently? I am looking at having some wedding stuff shipped from lahore/karachi to seattle…if anyone knows names of any reliable shipping companies please do let me know!!!

nowaday there are many agents everywhere like corner shops even in small town like TOBA TEK SINGH
i think is good idea to ship 20 or 40 feet container and you could through anything personal or household and works out cheaper
a 40 ft container from khi to ny cost us around $3k. so unless ur moving ur entire house to the US, i dont see the point cuz it will be pricey.

ok i guess containers are going to be expensive and not needed if you are shipping say mehndi trays, shoes etc hehe....has anyone shipped via dhl, fedex in pakistan to the states? if so please share your experience and any tips? :)

I usually get clothes and books mainly through the Pakistn Post Office service. I even got some utensils and artificail jewelry shipped through them too. They are chepaer than Fedex and have worked great for me.i have also used DHL and Fedex, both were great but pricey.
well my friend often send me some parcels over there and they are good...
try DHL (for europe perfect and it arrives after 3 days!!)
TSC also good and cheap.
and OCS.... very very cheap... 30kg for just 7500 rps and it takes about 10-12 days!!
better then to pay at the airport the charges...

Really, 30 Kg for just Rs 7500 or is it 3 KG? They are cheaper than the post office if its 30 Kg.
what's OCS? never heard of it before.
