I would like to know what is the best way to ship stuff to Pakistan, specfically Karachi. I have about 300 pounds (mostly clothes) that I would like to move. My questions are:
Any good shipping agencies that you have encountered? Since my weight is less, can somebody share a container?
How much you paid to forwarding/clearing agent in Pakistan?
What is the customs duty rule etc.?
In all, how much of a hassle is this? How much did you end up paying in all compared to the weight moved?

i am not much of an expert on this but i guess you may need to book it through airlines that would be cost effective and timely delivery would be ensured.
you need to value your package and try to make it lower or i guess may be sending it as a gift wouldbe good idea or as used clothes to avoid customs problems here.
receiver would need to hire a clearing agent and there are too many here, he just had to make sure they dont over charge him in thename of bribes/kharchi .
