yep...beautiful...according to the lonely planet, one of the best flights in the world is between Srinagar in Kashmir to Leh in LadaKh which takes u over the himalayas. the approach to the Ladakh airport is breathtaking. the plane flies in the valley for sometimes and the jagged mountain side is outta this world. i may take that flight soon iA :)

I am surprised coolmunda liked simla.Obviously he has not seen it earlier in 50,s 60,s.Simla has been raped by politicians , buriocrats & greedy businessmen.It used to be a great place.Now you cant even walk it is so crowded.

It is in a place called lavasa near pune or mumbai in maharashtra state.
it is designed on the patterns of some european city

oops another one of my many mistakes, so lavasa is the name of it and of course i didn't click the link. ok i got confoosed. apologies, it's beautiful, i feel like going there right this second. can i use the excuse that i wasn't raised in india to cover up for that mistake by any chance :@:

99 % of the Indians dont know what lavasa hill station is. it is very new hill station and to promote this sahara group has bought an IPL team.
this is a test case for future new cities of India
