All of Shilpa Shetty’s clothes are designed by Tarun Tahiliani, while Raj Kundra chose to wear creations by Shantanu and Nikhil.
Mehendi ceremony: Shilpa stunned the guests with a very un-traditional hot pink Swarovski crystals-studded kaftan instead of a predictable chaniya choli or demure saree.
Sangeet: she wore a beautiful Anarkali churidar-kurta, fitting her figure like a glove and with a simpler cut.
Wedding: A traditional Bunt saree, in burgundy and red. The choli has crystals stitched on to it.
Reception: Shilpa wore a saree which looked more like a gown having as many as 8,000 crystals stitched on to it. Raj wore a black sherwani with a lot of textures, applique and patterns, and muted Swarovski embroidery and crystals for the reception.
what kind of sari is this? i mean how and why is so nicely going around her hips … it accentuates her figure well though …
hum jo sari pehntay hain … wo to looks like a ghagra with front pleats i swear … with not so much gher!
is this a different kind of sari? what do you call it?

Some people no matter how rich they become, they cannot gain style and class. Ewww
that’s a bit harsh, mahi… you’re not “second hand” just because you’re divorced. people change, feelings change, and sometimes marriages end. its one of the facts of life.
on to Shilpa, WHOA hott body much?? wowzers. i’d like to meet her trainer! that pale gold/nude coloured sari/lehenga she has on is amazing on her.

I apologize for saying that but I really can't stomach the bitter fact esp. when little ones are involved. :( I am sorry. My comment also had a background that I don't think I can explain here effectively. I do respect that it is their life and they can spend it with anybody they like. Apologies once again if anyone thinks that my comment was out of line.
And, yes I adore Shilpa and she looks fab in that gold number!

I have to say, I prefer ash's gold saree. The paisley explosion there isn't doing much for me.

This looks like a normal saree, just draped beautifully. The reason it's going so nicely around her hips because, well, those are flippin' gorgeous hips to begin with!

Iam sorry but I like an extravagant wedding just like any other gal out there but there have to be some limits! Shilpa's husband used to be married to someone else! I mean she broke up a marriage just to be with ... lets face it ... a rich guy! (he doesn't fare well in the looks department). So Iam kinda sickened with all this extravangance. What is the point when you have just broken up a family?
Also, lets not forget how much poverty there is in India and how she could have toned or fed the poor or something. I really used to like her after Big Brother but now I just think she is a cheap, goldigger. Best of luck to her! I would love to see how long this lasts.

oh wow, only 4 pages?
it really looks different to me .. look at the how the pleats are following the curves of her nice hips 
.. or maybe it is the same .. but iv never seen anyone with a similar saree wrap … this one is more fitted around her asset

Am I the only one who thinks the gold saree/ outfit at the reception is too much? Way too filmi looking though her make up and jewelry that day look nice.
yeah i think her reception outfit is just out there...
shes looked so amazing in movies before, its kind of a let down to see her look ehh on her own reception!
