i don’t think many people realize the worth, value, and weave of the sari she is wearing! it’s very difficult to see. furthermore, you can’t compare this look to the one’s we’re used to seeing on pakistani brides, because it is the traditional south indian hindu style (among those from karnataka, which is why aishwarya’s look was so similar!).
this is also a series of pics of the actual wedding ceremony. typically, they have a reception w/ several outfit changes, that the media rarely gets access to. (this is because more VIP’s attend the reception than the extremely long wedding ceremony.) i feel that the outfits worn at the receptions are more in tune with the design aesthetic so many of you girls are accustomed to and like.
