Guys, recently i tuned into an FM station and got to listen to the last moments of Allama Iqbal’s ‘Shikwa’ by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
As far as i recall he had sung shikwa and jawab-e-shikwa both and i was rather mesmerized by the composition. it was sung in a nazm style and not qawwali.
I looked up at a number of stores and couldnt find the tracks in any of his albums.
Anyone got any clues as to when he recorded it, which album he released it with, where it could be found…?
I’m dying to get hold of it and am clueless!
