Fun Fun time.....so plz think about it.... :p

Re: Shikra/Mrs.Shikra

Angel Eyes et al,

Thanks for your concerns :) We are monitoring it closely and chances are that we will get a lot of rain from it and won't get a direct hit, but lets see what happens. As of now, Mexico and Texas are more in the range.

Texas got hit by Erin a couple of days ago and had a lot of flooding. I hate to say it but "better them (anyone) than us" because if another hurricane hits Louisiana (more like New Orleans), then it will be completely destroyed. Government would probably go bankrupt as well as the insurance companies who wouldn't wanna insure anyone, ever. Let's see what happens.

Re: Shikra/Mrs.Shikra

Pal, I think the south side of the country is sinking. You should move up north. Preferablly the east coast. :phati:

Re: Shikra/Mrs.Shikra

And get buried in my house when it snows :hoonh: At least we can leave the city and come back, you people get stuck in your houses and get bored :smilestar:

Re: Shikra/Mrs.Shikra

Have you ever seen snow (I mean in real life)?
Sure it sucks when you’re stuck at home but it’s so worth it…I mean for only a few days in the entire year, it’s nice to look out the window and everything is allll white. It looks really pretty. :phati:

P.S. It doesn’t snow so bad in DC. We get maybe like 5 snow days like when they have to close schools but other than that it’s fine.

Re: Shikra/Mrs.Shikra

In 2005, we had snow here after like 40 years. It was fun, everyone was out on the street going wild and neighbors talking to each other and all :phati: We even made a skinny tiny snowman.
