have you ever done shikar
in scorching hot sun
on the roof of your house
Heres how it is done
Weapons
Find a tookri (usually in those days, fruits like Aam were bought in bulk quantity in those tookris, or sometimes plywood crates)
A short stick - about 8 - 10 inches long
A rassi (cord - any shape / size )
Some dana (chawal, daal, baajra etc )
A small cup filled with water
Procedure
Tie the cord to the stick
now rest one edge of the tookri / crate on the stick so it is raised from the ground. Now hide in some place, with the cord in your hands. Depending upon the animal population in your area, after sometime a chiRya or some other similar parinda will slowly hop towards the tookri to eat the dana.
