so ppl on this board have already started assuming it was carried out by sunnis. why dint we have these bombings each yr at muharam when sunni saddam was in power. it must have been pretty easy for his regime to carry these out.

shias were not on the verge of power then, were they? sunni saddam was. what would be the point?
