Agar app key pass shia key khilaaf points hain to app samnay lain ta key shia un ka jawab dey sakain, ya phir jawab na honay ki wajah sey sooch sakain key kia hum seedhay rastey per hain, ya apnay aalim sey ja ker sawal karai aur dekhain key un ka jawab convincing hai ya nahi ... I believe this is stupid and retarded. Debating gets you no where. How will shias accept other hadiths in Sahih Bukhari when they only focus on a few to counter claims put forth by sunnis? And how will sunnis ever accept the books of the shias when they consider them futile and fabricated?

How long will the debate go on for, on senseless and futile grounds?

Try searching your heart, asking God to show us the light, thats the way to the truth, not pointless debating using books and literature neither sides is ready to believe in.

Goal is, not to find truth, but to win the argument.
hence debate goes on forever.

Thats why when you think you are losing, you consult a coach(aalim). You know you have to win, and your coach gives you another set of arguments

when are we going to come out of this shia sunni argument, mulk ki haalat deekhain!! we should be talking about issues that effect us on a daily basis, things which have a constructive outcome. argument for the sake of argument is a waste of time, kiya milay ga? and the topic title itself is very distrubing, its the 21st century, duniya kahan sey kahan puhunch gayi hai and we are still debating key musalmaan kon hai. no wonder the muslim world is in this shape today, its the easiest thing to attack and conquer a disjointed and un-unified group and thats why muslims today are being attacked...apas mein argue kernay sey fursut nahi hai duniya ka kiya muqabla karein gein!!!!

Ghalat bat nahi keheee mayri jan.. sach bat kahi hain.. aur believe me truth is always painful.. main wahi kahti ho jis pe main believe karti ho.. dosray topics kay baray main jo bi main nay kahi hain us pe main totally and strongly believe karti ho.. JO ghalat hain woh ghalat hain.. I don't care if it breaks someone heart or breaks them into pieces... A person jo kay saray say muslim ho hi na ya mana muslim mana jayay hi na to un ki points against shia or sunni khabi valid nahi ho sakti..... :)

Shias and sunis are Muslim.. So i can openly talk or agree upon it.. while Ahmadi's are not considered muslims so ofcourse my views will change here na... Please jis topic ki thread ho usi kay barain main bat karain.. This will be my last reply for any topic related to Ahmadism... :)

i think retarted part is when i open a hadith which is found only in shia books and try to convince a sunni to agree with me over it. and then claiming "I have got a point against sunni's" coz shia books say so and so

I can only calim sumthing like that when i have found something in Quran or Sahi Bukhari (or other sunni books) and reffering to that when i say "i Have got a point against sunnis"

Convincing is not the only reason people debate. I think debate gives us a reason to learn. If a sunni tells me that i have got this point against ur religion and if it makes just a little sense to me i will go out and ask questions to my aalim's or people who know more about Islam than me... and gain a little knowledge about islam. Now it depends on people how they debate some use curse words and make it personal issue which is a wrong way but if we try to keep debate sweet therez alot we can learn... Even if we talk about this forum i know debates go no where but we learn y shia's have such and such believes and sunni's have such and such believes.

I pray that everyone see's light but i also think that most of the times a person will go out and seek who is rite if he thinks he is wrong at first place. and for us to know we are wrong people have to tell us why do they think we are wrong.

To be honest, I dont believe in that one bit. Its easier said then done, something that hasn't shed light in 1500 years, isn't going to be understood and accepted by couple of people on a forum. Its just impossible, for that reason, sab apni apni fikar karein, and pray that they're guided before they go out to guide others.

Tolerance needs to spread, and people need to keep to their own values and beliefs, as long as respect and virtuous acts remain between them. Debating (even positively and in a healthy manner) is not the answer. Perhaps instead of asking another Sunni, you may want to research on it yourself. Or a sunni instead of asking a Shia, may want to research himself and ask Allah for guidance.

Bro, no one will let go of their books and beliefs. Unless Allah guides them.

It doesn't matter if you bring something from the Quran and Bukhari or wherever, sunnis will bring something from the same sources too! Its cyclical.

If the sahabas weren't tolerant with each other, ISlam wouldn't have spread out of Medina!

many sunnis have issues with shias because shias say tabarra, which means they curse the Sahaba Karam :razi: and some wives of Hazrat Muhammed:saw2:

Tabarra is very offensive for Sunnis
