According to Shi’ah beliefs/sources where on the earth will Imam Mahdi (as/r) first appear?
Where will the bulk of his supporters come from?
Thanks.

Tahir ul-Qadri is Barelvi/Sunni.
Re: Shi'ah brothers: Question about Imam Mahdi (as/r)
i have an answer, but i do not have a source for you right now. i am working on getting the source and ill get back at ya!
Bro I asked for Shi'ah source.
Tahir ul-Qadri is Barelvi/Sunni.
He is Sunni and Barelvi are those who got their education from Bareli (India) or who live in Bareli.
He has been hammering the Dabba Pirs while telling the Ummah who are Auliya Allah and why link with them is important?
His followers tell me that he has delivered mire than 7000 lectures and all the royalty he has give to Minhaj-ul-Quran and even after him his family can't claim.
No very many people would do that? It is a very good source of income
I was amazed by his lecture Difa'ae Shan-e-Ali RA, it's long lecture 12 hours but after listening to first it makes it clear who should deliver Islamic lecture and who shouldn't and he explained through Quran and Sunnah.

^
I thought they were the same thing... I was friends with a choirboy (naat-khwaan) from a nearby Barelvi Mosque and he went to study in Lahore at Minhaj ul-Quran so I thought Dr. Tahir ul-Qadri was Barelvi too..
Barelvis describe themselves as a sub-sect of Ahle Sunnat too..
Re: Shi'ah brothers: Question about Imam Mahdi (as/r)
I don't have the source atm but inshaAllah I'll post it. It's commonly said that he will return to Makkah and lead Prophet Isa in namaz.
The supporters come from us..Out of us, 313 will be commanders, he won't have 313 soldiers which is misunderstood but rather commanders. I saw a hadith a while back saying that 300 will be from Iran.

yeah basically their sheikh Ahmad Rida Khan was from Berelli, India and that's where the berelvis started. just like deobandis started from Deoband, India...
I would suggest refer to Chapter 14, of the following link:
The websites talks about the different aspects of Imam Mahdi in detail from reliable shia sources.
