SHIA BELIEFS

Re: SHIA BELIEFS

who is this new Nasibi clown?

Moderators, are you going to do something about this fella OR i start posting stuff challenging Sunnis and Wahabis (and my posts wont contain lies but they will surely be long, offending, and fantastic C&P jobs).

N need to run away like your ancestors from the challenge. The challenge is s till on, bring proof of what "you" have accused Allah [swt] of i.e. He tell lies and makes mistakes [Nauzobillah]. Bring the proof from Shia book having "exact same words" otherwise seek refuge from Allah's wrath for attrubting this absurdity to Allah just for your hate for Shias of Ahlulbayt [as].

You close me from your thread then come here and post?? Anyways, don't believe these lies he has copy and pasted from some propaganda site to make Shias look bad..

seems to b another cyber jihadi seeking "e-martyrdom". lol

**All people are Allah's (SWT) makhlooq................seems we humans like to put down other makhlooq in order to feel good about ourselves................

reminds me of the Original Sin ...................

The very REASON Shaitan Iblis was thrown out of Allah's (SWT) favour....

Shaitan said I am better than Adam (ES)......................why should I bow to him...............who is made of DIRT.............

see where it got Shaitan Iblees for that simple act............

May Allah Guide us ALL!

Re: SHIA BELIEFS

^bro, at least shaitaan in what he said was right and logical because he said i am from fire and Adam is from dust hence my superiority claim. however Allah SWT said that "he has been given knowledge of what you havent hence he is superior and i know what you dont know".

Shaitaan was a loser becuase he did not bow down to the command of Allah SWT.

Atleast SHaitaan did not lie. But some people lie to themselves and lie to others. One great zulm upon another.

i am not running, you may google such beliefs you will find in your books, also why are you running awa to answer this question.

1- Bida (and not b bad'ah): Is when something we thought is the destiny doesn't happen. It is not a lie, of course. Allah has said it would happen, but if the causes happen, and all the causes are not told to us. It is just from that we are not told everything, that we get stuck. Allah doesn't reveal everything to us, and those hidden parts cause Bida.
2- All Imams are equal in these world ranks to the Prophet, PBUH. In the whole, they are very near, "Min Noorin Vahid", from one light, but Muhammad, PBUH, is the first and highest, and all others are after him.
3- No. It is against the belief of nearly all shiite scholars. If there are hadiths about this (I don't have access to AlShaafi, and I don't know how reliable it is) it is against the holy Quran, so it is a lie, and not said by the Imams. They, themselves, said, if somebody told you a hadith of ours against Quran, hit that to the wall (Imam Sadiq).
4- Yes, denying that Ali was khalif is a great sin. Acting against what Rasool Allah has said is one of the greatest sins.
5- Anybody who denied Ali's Khalif is infidel, but Shiite Fiqh rigards them as Muslims. If somebody denies it although he has seen the truth, some say yes, he is Kafir. Then, anybody present in Ghadeer Khum would be.
6- ???
7- Allah has sent human beings as his Khalifs in earth. These hadiths mean that, the human being who could have this authority, is the one who is pure of any sin, and Imams are so. Hadith Thaqalian, the Aya Tathir (Innama Yuridu Allaho LeYuzhiba AnkumuRrijsa AhlalBait va Utahhirakum Tathiraa) show this very clearly.
8- Has any other one calimed to know Quran completely?
Hadith Thaqalain says that Quran and AhlalBait are with each other, and never get apart. Anybody who doesn't know Quran completely, or misinteprets it, or acts against it, would get apart of it. So AhalalBait, are clean from any sin, and know Quran completely.
9- don't know the hadith. Not sure. It doesn't make anybody Kafir however.
10- Yet again don't know. However Ayishi acted directly against Quran in the Jamal war, when she came out of her house and came against Ali.
11- Not acceptable at all. I don't know this book and the writer, but any shiite who believes in it is Kafir. The dominant and righteous shiite belief is not this, and Ali has denied it himself too.
12- Yes. It needs much much explanation. It is well explained in any basic shiite book, and what part of it is Kufr?
13- ??? Quran is not changed in our belief.
14- Asraar Aale Muhammad is not totally right. And who can say this is wrong or right? and what makes it Kufr?
15- Don't know about it.
16- again like 11
17- Imam has very great knowledge of Gheib, like the Prophet. This is part of it.
18- again like 3
19- Well, what Umar and AbuBakr did, in Saghifa, about Fadak, and to Fatima, (Who RasoolAllah said anybody who bothers Fatima has botehred me, and sure she was bothered by their acts) explain these.
20- repeated. 15
21- I said previously, and I am searching for a source you could have access to, that Abullah bin Saba is a myth.
22- Yes. (nearly, not completely, the total knowledge of Gheib is at Allah's hand, and he gives it anybody he wants, and Imam have access to it, to a large extent.)
23- again like 3
24- again like 19
25- If it is that she did Zina, no, not our belief. Quran verses say this. and, if else, see 10.
26- It only means that Abu Bakr was not the right Khalif, and that's true.
27- Than any prophet other than Muhammad, PBUH. Yes, because he is the khalif of Muhammad who was higher than all the other prophets (peace be upon them and our prophet and his family), so his khalifs should be so.
28- see 3 again
29- see 19. I'll have to explain this more later.
30- again don't know about it.
31- ???
32- what's wrong with it? To help Islam and keep it alive is Jihad. These are some types of it.
33- They refused it. And that Quran was only ordered differently (according to the Nozool time), and also had Tafsir in it (like Sha'noNnozool, etc)
34- see 19 again.
35- see 25
36- ???
37- Yes, as I said previously, they are from the light of Muhammad. His light was the first to be created, and then their lights, and then the rest of the world. (Here how the light must be interpreted is a place of debate)
38- ???
39- see 19 again. explained later.
40- see 25
41- Asking for help from any of the Imams, not calling him as God, but as a nearer person to Allah, is not polytheism. In Quran, asking Rasool Allah to ask God for our forgiveness is accepted. Ali and the other Imams are his Khalif, and have every authority he has except being a prophet.
42- see 19 again
43- misinterpretted, yes, but not altered.
44- see again 19. explained later.
45- Don't know.
46- Is not complete, not false.
47- see 19 again. explained later.
48- ???? Was she???
49- laughable!!
50- not an interpretation, but a 'Ta'wil', and needs exact overview of the Hadith. see 19 again.

All these which you feel make us Kafir, are about some basic wrong beliefs of Sunnis:
1- All Shahabah are righteous, good, and holy.
2- Rasool Allah didn't call anybody as his Khalif. The Islamic community was left without a Khalif after him.
3- The Khalifs are the nearest to the prophet, and have no sin.
Know, Let's explain these a little.
1- Are All Shabah righteous?
It's too much exaggeration. Any simple clear mind won't believe it. Munafiqin are considered of Shabahah, and it's obvious they were not righteous. I have previuosly explaind about Muavia. He was for sure not a righteous one, acting against Sunnah, collecting money, choosing his son, (and what a dirty son! who attacked the Holy Kabe and Medina, killes Husain, etc.), etc. And you remember Ammar Yasir, who was Rasool Allah said would be killed by a non-righteous person, fighted against him and became a martyr. Ayesha did came against Ali, against the holy Quran, and also the same did
Talhe and Zubair. I'll explain about the three other Khalifs later.
2-
Could Abu Bakr and Umar know that the Muslim community needs a leader, and Rasool Allah didn't? The signs about it are som much. Gahdeer Khum is the best sign. Aye Wilaya (Innama Waliyukumullah o Wa Rasooloho Wa Allazina Yuqimuna Assalata wa Yu'tuna Azzakata Wa Hum Rake'in) which is for sure about Ali, shows it. (The Wilayat of Allah and Rasool is obvioulsy not their love only, but being the ruler and governer of the Islamic community), and also Aya Oli'lAmr (Wa Ati'oo Allaha wa Ati'oo Rrasoola Wa Oli'lAmri Minkom) which shows obeying UlilAmr is like obeying the Rasool, and so the ulilAmr should make no mistakes, and so, as Aye Tathir shows, Ahlulbait are the righteous ones. Besides, Aye Mubahele shows that Ali is like the Nafs of Rasoolullah shows how near Ali is to him, and so he could be the only one to become UlilAmr. Large amount of text is available on this issue. AlGhadeer is the completest source, and uses many of the Sunni source books.
3- Abu Bakr and Umar, were present at Ghadeer Khum, but after the death of the Rasool, they went to Saghifa, (while Ali was yet at the prophet's house) and Abu Bakr became the Khalif. Then, they bothered Fatima, and everybody knew she had become upset by them, and everybody knew that Rasool Allah said anybody who bothers her has bothered him. They got Fadak from her, while she had received it from Rasool, and said Rasool Allah has told them privately! (And they were right and Fatima was wrong!!!???)
And Fatima died so soon, and didn't let them to attend her ceremony, and yet were she is buried is not known.
Then, Abu Bakr selected Umar (and who else would he have chosen, for Umar made it for Abu Bakr!) Umar changed many of the Sunnah. Salat Tarawih is a great example. He said "Bad'atun, wa Ni'mal Bid'ah) (built new, and what a good new thing!) Also he changed many other laws. Then Uthman became Khalif. Ali could become, but didn't accept to follow Abu Bakr and Umar Sunnah totally, because it was against Sunnah of rasool. Uthman gave many of his relatives money, government, etc, (Muawia is an example, Walid bin Oqbeh is another) and this at last resulted to his being killed (while Ali tried a lot fot this not to happen, even Hasan and Husain defended Uthman's house).
These and many others, causes them to be Qasib of what was for Ali, Khilafa. These are why we believe them to be wrong, and as they knew the right, and acted against it, they are sometimes told to be Kafir.
So, if you wanna know who is Kafir, go look for that, if Rasool Allah announced Ali as his Khalif or not. And everything would be as obvious as sun then.

WHAT THE GREAT SAINTS AND SCHOLARS HAVE SAID IN
REFUTATION OF THE BELIEFS OF THE SHIAS

IMAM-I-RABBANI SHAIKH AHMAD SIRHINDI MUJADDID ALF THANI (rah), who lived almost 400 years ago, has written a good deal about the Shias and their sect in many of his letters. He confirms the Caliphate of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (radi Allahu anhu). In his famous book, "RADD -E-RAWAAFID", he states:

Hazrat Ali (radi Allahu anhu) acknowledged Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique's (radi Allahu anhu) Caliphate willingly. The Shias, who knew this fact said, "He admitted it unwillingly." The Shias did not make any further comments.

However, after Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) left this world physically, the Sahaba (radi Allahu anhum ajma'in) embarked on a job of appointing the Khalifa before the interment (burial). They considered this to be Wajib (necessary). This was due to the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) commanding that the guilty should be punished as prescribed by the Shariat and that they (the Muslims) should be ready for war. In addition to other things which the government should do, it was Wajib to elect the representative who would execute these Wajibs.

Therefore, Hazrat Abu Bakr (radi Allahu anhu) stood up and said, "If you worship Hazrat Muhammed (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), know that he passed away. If you worship Allahu Ta'ala know that Allah never dies, His is always alive."

"You have to choose someone to carry out His Commandments. Think, find, and choose!" Everybody agreed with him.

Hazrat Umar (radi Allahu anhu) immediately stood up and said,

"We want you, Abu Bakr!"

All those present there said, "We have elected you."

Then, Hazrat Abu Bakr (radi Allahu anhu) mounted the mimbar and looked around, "I cannot see Zubair. Call him."

When Hazrat Zubair (radi Allahu anhu) came, Hazrat Abu Bakr (radi Allahu anhu) said to him, "The Muslims have elected me as the Khalifa. Will you disagree with their concensus (unanimity)?"

"O You, the Messenger's (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) Khalifa! I do not disagree," and held out his hand and did musaafaha (shook hands in a manner prescribed by Islam) with him.

Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Zubair (radi Allahu anhuma) apologised to the Khalifa for being late for the election, and said, "We did not come because we were not notified in advance. We are sorry about it. We consider Hazrat Abu Bakr to be more worthy of the Caliphate. He was Rasoolullah's (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) companion in the cave. He is the most honoured and the best of us. Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) chose him as the Imaam from amongst us. We performed Salaah behind Him."

From the above we can safely say that if Hazrat Abu Bakr (radi Allahu anhu) had not been worthy of the Caliphate, Hazrat Ali (radi Allahu anhu) would NOT have accepted him and would have said, "It is my right." As a matter of fact, he refused Hazrat Muawiyya (radi Allahu anhu) as being the Khalifa. Although Hazrat Muawiyya's (radi Allahu anhu) army was very strong, he strove hard so that he himself would be the Khalifa. As a result of this, many lives were lost. Since he asked for his right at such a difficult situation, it would have been much easier to ask for it from Hazrat Abu Bakr (radi Allahu anhu) if he had considered it his right. He would have asked to be chosen, and that would have been done immediately.

After choosing Hazrat Abu Bakr (radi Allahu anhu) as the Khalifa and paying homage to him, Hazrat Ali (radi Allahu anhu) sat in front of the mimbar. In their next conversation he gave effective answers to the Khalifa's questions and supported him.

One of the greatest guides of the Sufiya-e-Alawiyyah, GHOUS-E-AZAM, SAYYID ABDUL QAADIR JILANI (RADI ALLAHU ANHU), writes in his book, "GHUNYAT-UT-TAALIBIN", that:

Abu Bakr Siddique (radi Allahu anhu) became the Khalifa with the unanimity of the Muhajirs and Ansars, as follows:-

When Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) passed away, the Ansar-i-Kiram said, "Let one Amir be from you and one Amir be from us."

Hazrat Umar (radi Allahu anhu) stood up and said, "O Ansar! Have you forgotten how Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) called Abu Bakr, 'the Imam of my Sahaba'?"

They said, "We know, O Umar."

Hazrat Umar (radi Allahu anhu) went on, "Is anyone among you higher than Abu Bakr?"

The Ansar replied: "We trust ourselves to Allah's protection from considering ourselves higher than Abu Bakr."

Then, Hazrat Umar (radi Allahu anhu) asked, "Who among you would tolerate to remove Abu Bakr from the ranking office where Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) appointed him?"

The Ansar said, "None of us will tolerate it. We trust ourselves with Allah's protection from removing Abu Bakr."

With the co-operation of the Muhajirs, they appointed Hazrat Abu Bakr (radi Allahu anhu) as the Khalifa. Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Zubair (radi Allahu anhuma) came later. Both accepted the Khalifa. Hazrat Abu Bakr (radi Allahu anhu) stood up three times and said each time, "Is there anyone among you who has given up choosing me as the Khalifa?" Hazrat Ali who was sitting in the front stood up and said, "None of us gives up. Nor shall we ever think of giving up. Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) has put you ahead of us. Who on earth can remove you?"

Thus, we have heard through strong and sound witnesses that the person who wanted Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (radi Allahu anhu) to become the Khalifa and uttered the most influential words, was Hazrat Ali (radi Allahu anhu). For example, after the Camel Event, Hazrat Abdullah bin Kawa (radi Allahu anhu) came to Hazrat Ali (radi Allahu anhu) and said, "Did Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) tell you anything about the Caliphate?" Hazrat Ali (radi Allahu anhu) replied, "First we mind our duty concerning the Deen. The archstone of the Deen is Salaah. And we like and choose for the world what Allah Ta'ala and His Messenger (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) have chosen from among us. We have therefore chosen Abu Bakr as the Khalifa."

As Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) was sick during the final days of his life, he appointed Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (radi Allahu anhu) as the Imaam in his place so that he would conduct the Salaah. Each time Hazrat Bilal (radi Allahu anhu) called the Adhan, Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) used to say, "Tell Abu Bakr to be the Imaam for the people." He used to say this repeatedly. This was taken to imply that after his demise Hazrat Abu Bakr (radi Allahu anhu) would be most suitable for Caliphate, and that each of Umar, Uthman and Ali (radi Allahu anhum ajma'in) was the most suitable for the Caliphate among the people of his time.

One is amazed to see that the Shiites weep over the martyrdom of Hz. Hussein(ra) whereas they never weep over the martyrdom of his brother Abu Bakr ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib and over the martyrdom of his son Abu Bakr. Those who bear those names are from the Ahlul Bayt also. Why negligence? Is it because they have names which are disliked by the Rafadhis and by announcing it to their Shiite listeners would expose the love of the Ahlul Bayt to the companions especially to Abu Bakr and Umar?

Shiite muhaditeen like Abu Faraj al-Isfahani in his Muqatil at-Talibeen-p.88,142,188; Al-Arbali in his Kashful Ghumamah vol.2,p.64; and Majlisi in Jila el-ou’ioun 582 stated that amongst those who were martyred with Hussein in Karbala were Abu Bakr ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib and Abu Bakr ibn Hussein ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib.
Why doesn’t the ceremonies held during Ashoora not mention the names of the following who were martyred with Hussein:
Umar ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib
Abu Bakr ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib
Uthman ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib
Abu Bakr ibn Hassan ibn Ali
Umar ibn Hassan ibn Ali
Abu Bakr ibn Hussein ibn Ali
Umar ibn Hussein ibn Ali
Uthman ibn Hussein ibn Ali.

Is it because that the likes of Abu Bakr and Umar wiped out the Sassanid arrogance and for this reason mentioning their names are unbearable?

Muhammad Ali Mu’zi, an Iranian Shiite researcher in France has stated with pride: “The basic fundamentals of the Zoroastrian religion has entered into Shiaism even in some minute issues. The marriage of Imam Hussein with the daughter of the last Sassanid Empire is a symbol of ancient Iran as Shahrbano became the first mother or lady for the Iranian nation. And this relationship marked the brotherhood between Shiaism and the ancient Magian Iran.”

I have my self seen the tradition in Al-Kafi so cut the crap and if you are truthful and do not contain Nasibi blood flowing inyour veins then provide the original wordings from the book and let it be known to each and every here whether it realy says that Allah [swt] tells a lie and makes mistakes or it wa just from yuor pathetic mind, whats difficult in that? The truth is, that you yourself have not even bothered to check those things in the books and being yet another Nasibi, you just copy pasted the stuff from Fitna mongering websites.

Thus, the challenge is still on for you.

ok lets start to expose shia religion from their own books producing below one of them.

these hadith taken from famous shia book of hadith al-kafi, this is authentic hadith, my question is that did shia beliefs that imam is free from all shariya rules, they do not follow quran and hadith, in one of hadith it shows that one imam (so called) eat dates which was piosioned by some even person eating aware of that, what does that mean if a person who eat poision after awairance what islam’s verdit about their act did he did right did we count them shaheed or call them he attempt suiside.

Chapter 47 (part 2) al-kafi

The Imams (a.s.) know when they will die and they die voluntarily

H 670, Ch. 47, h 1
Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Salamah ibn-al-Khattab from ) Sulayman ibn Sama‘a and ‘Abdallah ibn Muhammad from ‘Abdallah ibn al-Qasim al-Batal from abu Basir from abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) who has said the following. “Whoever of the Imams that would not know what would happen to him and to what events he would proceed such a person is not a possessor of Divine authority over His creature.”

H 671, Ch. 47, h 2
Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa ibn al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Bashshar has said that a respectable man from Qati‘a al- Rabi‘ (a quarter in the Karkh part of Baghdad) from the general public (non-Shi‘a) of Baghdad, from whom people would narrate hadith has said to me the following. “I have seen (experienced) from the people of this family
of whose virtues people speak, things that I have never seen (experienced) no one else to be like him in his virtue and worship.” The narrator has said that he asked the man. “Who is he? And how did you find him?” He then said, “In the days of al-Sindi ibn Shahik (a vazir of Harun al-Rashid) we gathered eighty people of the leading personalities in goodness to meet Musa ibn Ja‘far (a.s.) . Al-Sindi asked us, “Gentlemen, please examine this man. Has anything happened to him?” People think that he is tortured and they make a huge noise about it. This is his dwelling place and his bed which, has enough room and he is not constrained. Amir al-Mu’minin (Harun al-Rashid) has not done any bad things to him. He is kept here until the right time comes so he can debate Amir al-Mu’minin (Harun al-Rashid). He is quite well and comfortable from all aspects. You may ask him questions.” The narrator has said, "We had no other intention but to see to the man, to his virtue and his excellent attitude. Musa ibn Ja‘far (a.s.) then said, “Whatever he (al-Sindi) has said about the capacity of the place and other such things are as he has said. However, O people, I let you know that I am being poisoned with seven pieces of dates. Tomorrow my color will turn green and after tomorrow I
will die.” The man has said, “I looked at al-Sindi ibn Shahik. He shivered in terror and shook like the leaves of a branch of palm tree.”

H 672, Ch. 47, h 3
Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from abu Jamilah from ‘Abdallah ibn abu Ja‘far who has said that my brother narrated from Ja‘far (abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) from his father that he went to Ali ibn al-Husayn (a.s.) on the night in which he passed away and offered him a drink requesting, “Father, please drink it.” He said, “Son, this is the night in which I will pass away and during such night the Messenger of Allah also passed away.” (The date of the demise of the two holy ones, as generally held, is not the same. However, being the same day is a possibility).

H 673, Ch. 47, h 4
Ali ibn Muhammad has narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid from al-Hassan ibn al-Jahm who has said that he said to al-Rida (a.s.) the following. “Amir al-Mu’minin Ali (a.s.) knew his assassin, the night in of being murdered and the spot whereat who be murdered. It is his words on hearing the ducks at the house, “These are the quacks that will be followed by lamentations.” Also the words of ’Umm Kulthum (his daughter). “Would
that you pray inside the house and send someone else to lead the prayer in the Mosque.” He refused to do so and at that night he went many times out of the house unarmed. He knew that ibn Muljim, may he be condemned will murder him with a sword. He must not have exposed himself to it” The Imam (a.s.) said, “It is true but it was chosen that night wherein the measure and the determination of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High would come to pass.”

H 674, Ch. 47, h 5
Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from some of our people from abu al-Hassan Musa (a.s.) who has said the following. “Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High expressed anger at the Shi‘a. He, therefore, let me choose either myself or them (to receive protection). I swear by Allah, that I protected them with my own soul.”
H 675, Ch. 47, h 6
Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from l-Washsha’ from Musafir that abu al-Hassan al-Rida (a.s.) said to him the following. “O Musafir, in this water passage there is fish.” The narrator has said that he said, "Yes, “May Allah take my soul in service for your cause, there is fish there.” The Imam (a.s.) then said, "I saw the Messenger of
Allah last night and was saying, “O Ali, what is with us is better for you.” (The mention of fish is to show equality of degree of certain in his knowledge from observation and his knowledge from his dream.)

H 676, Ch. 47, h 7
Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from l-Washsha’ from Ahmad ibn ‘Aidh from abu Khadija from abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) who has said the following. "I was in the presence of my father during the day in which he passes away. He made several recommendations to me about his funeral matters, such as washing his whole body, shrouding him and placing him in his grave. I then said to him, “Father, I have not seen in a better health from the day you complained illness than today. I do not see in you any sign of death.” The Imam (a.s.) said, “Son, have you not heard about Ali ibn al-Husayn (a.s.) calling from behind the wall, ‘O Muhammad, come. Be quick.’”

H 677, Ch. 47, h 8
A number of our people has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Sayf ibn ‘Umayra from ‘Abd al-Malik ibn A‘yan from abu Ja‘far (a.s.) who has said the following. “Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, sent support for Imam al-Husayn (a.s.) up to the fill between the heavens and earth. Then he was let to choose either victory or meeting Allah. He, however, chose the meeting of Allah the Most High.”

Poision Eating By Imam Is Halal In Shia Religion - Muslim Online - Islamic Forum, Arcade, Friends

name of person is moostee

quote

That is correct - the imams have knowledge of the unseen.

There is a huge difference between committing suicide and knowing when you are going to die.

Committing suicide is taking your own life - not being poisoned by someone and knowing about it.

If the imams poisoned the dates and then ate them - i would be inclined to agree with you that this is clearly suicide.

If you study the reasons people commit suicide and the reasons that the imams ate the dates, then you would have to conclude that whatever you make of the behaviour of the imams, it is not suicide.

Suicide is committed by a person when they have lost all hope and have become so disillusioned with their circumstances in this life that they decide to end it all out of cowardice.

To accuse the ancestors of the prophet

http://muslimonline.org/forum/style_emoticons/default/pbuh.gif

who were the carriers of his knowledge of this fate is hugely disrespectful and disappointing - better it would be for you to argue against them knowing of when they are going to die than arguing that they committed suicide.

The reason that they allowed themselves to be poisoned was because that was the will of Allah that they should die that way and because of their high position - they were told of their death in advance by Allah not so that they could avoid it but because Allah knew that they would not try to avoid it.

If you look at hadith e saheeh - Prophet Muhammad

committed suicide because he did something that he knew would lead to his death?

I am sure you will not say this because it is part of the sunni creed to accept all sahabas as virtually infallible and to accuse one of comitting suicide is unthinkable. Or do you reject this hadith? if you want references to it - i will provide them. just ask.

The final point to be made is that the imams yearned for death because they knew of the rewards they would receive whereas the coward yearns for death out of fear and lost hope of what this world has to offer.

Chapter 35 (PART TWO) AL-KAFI (BOOK OF IBLEES)

http://ia311317.us.archive.org/2/ite…ry/Al-Kafi.pdf

No one collect all of the Holy Quran except the Imams (a.s.) and that they have the
knowledge of all of the Holy Quran

H 607, Ch. 35, h 1
Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from
‘Amr ibn abu al-Miqdam from Jabir who has said that he heard abu Ja‘far (a.s.) say the
following. “No one from the people has claimed to have collected the whole of the Holy
Quran (in a book form) as it was revealed. If anyone would come up with such a claim, he is
liar. No one collected this Holy Book and memorized as Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High
revealed it except Ali ibn abu Talib (a.s.) and the Imams after him.”

H 608, Ch. 35, h 2
Muhammad ibn al-Husayn has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan from Muhammad ibn
Sinan from ‘Ammar ibn Marwan from al-Munakhkhal from Jabir from abu Ja‘far (a.s.) who
has said the following. "No one is able to claim that with him is the whole of the Holy Quran;
its apparent and hidden essence, except the executors of the will of the Holy Prophet (s.a.).

H 609, Ch. 35, h 3
Ali ibn Muhammad and Muhammad ibn al-Hassan have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from al-
Qasim ibn al-Rabi‘ from ‘Ubayd ibn ‘Abdallah ibn abu Hashim al-Sayrafi from ‘Amr ibn
Mus‘ab from Salma ibn Muhriz who has said that he heard abu Ja‘far (a.s.) say the following.
"Of the knowledge that we have received is the interpretation of the Holy Quran and its laws,
the knowledge of the changes of time and the happenings therein. When Allah wants good for
a people, He makes them to understand. If He would make to understand one who does not
want to understand such a person turns away as if he has heard nothing. The Imams (a.s.)
paused, briefly, then said, “Had we found keepers and trusted people for our knowledge, we
would have said it (all to him). Allah is the best supporter.”

H 610, Ch. 35, h 4
Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Muhammad ibn
'Isa from abu ‘Abdallah al-Mu‘min from ‘Abd al-A‘la Mawla ’Ala Sam who has said that he
heard abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) say the following. "I swear by Allah that I know the Holy Quran
from the beginning to end as if it is in the palm of my hand. In it there is the news of the
heavens and the earth, the news of what has been and the new of what will come into being.
Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, has said, “In it there is the explanation of all
things.” (16:89)

H 611, Ch. 35, h 5
Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn abu Zahir from al-Khashshab from Ali
ibn Hass’an from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Kathir from abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) who recited the
following verse. "The one who had knowledge from the Book said, “I can bring it to you
before you even blink your eye. . . .” (27:40). The narrator has said that the Imams (a.s.)
opend his two fingers and placed them on his chest and then said, “With us, I swear by Allah,
is the knowledge of the whole of the Book.”

H 612, Ch. 35, h 6
Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father and Muhammad ibn Yahya from Muhammad ibn
al-Hassan from those he mentioned, both of them from ibn abu ‘Umayr from ibn ’Udhayna
from Burayd ibn Mu‘awiya who has said that he asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.) about the meaning of
the following verse. “. . . Say, ‘God and those who have the knowledge of the Book are
sufficient witness (to my prophet-hood).’” (13:43) The Imam (a.s.) said, “It is a reference to
us. Ali (a.s.) is the first among us and the most virtuous and the best among us after the Holy
Prophet (s.a.)”

Even if the threads starter's intentions are not bad, people take such discussions in the wrong direction and hence there is no option left but to lock that thread. Mods can't sit and keep deleting all the irrelevant posts, so please do consider this before hijacking any thread.
