i m sharing a video of mulana ishaq in which he highlighted a wayout to resolve or atleast reduce the difference so that the both school of thoughts (Shia and sunni ) can live with harmony as a muslim.
note:
i think the title of the video is not appropriate and shows a slanted view. first watch the video and then develop an opinion. i think he has rightly pointed out the delimma that ppl of both school of thoughs question the authenticity of each other’s hadith’s books.
i wud appreciate if someone shares the brief profile of the speaker as i dont know about the speaker background.
You just stated the reason why there are disputes. They disagree over hadiths. That is the whole problem. If they upheld only the Quran the way Prophet Muhammad did there would be no disputes. In fact, they would not be upholding fabricated hadiths if they obeyed the prophet. The problem is that neither SUnni nor Shia are upholding the Quran as decreed in the Quran. Muslims are commanded not to divide into sects, and that is exactly what they have done. In fact, they did exactly what previous generations have done with the message from GOD.
Re: shia and sunni difference - a moderate approch
