Man, WHY WHY WHY!!
Its not fair; I love her!!
Ok you wanna know what happened; here is the story. You know how I’ve been posting pix of my bodacious babe.
Today coming down Highway 401 passing Markham cruisin’ down back from work in the left lane I was faced with a dilemma A FUZZED UP COUCH rolling on the left and middle lane. I had no time to brake, so I had to swirve HARD (poor baby she must’ve felt it).
In the process of swirving she sped out of control hitting the left rear tire on the guard rail flying into a frenzy of 360 degrees 3 times (1080 degrees full circles).
All I could do to ease her pain was gear down brake and NOOOOOOOO her right side hit a Ford Escape 4x4 2002! The Ford escape jumped 3 lanes onto a hill while i reverse geared, pulled the handbrake and braked like a mad dog.
Finally she stops and purrs down still reving. I sat there cursing for 5 minutes thinking of all the good times spent with her and how that damn couch had to be there on the HWY! Got out and she was surrounded by cop cars and tow trucks. Got there on my knees gave her a look. Her headlights mashed in, her rear end hanging by a metal thread. The hood twisted and the front bumper embossed with the colour of the Ford and license plate. sigh
The OPP (cops) said I’m lucky to be alive but I really didn’t care neither did I freak during the entire ordeal just really depressed that she’s gone. So she got towed down to the Collision centre and got her to rest in peace for 48 hours till junkyard burial. Filled out the reports then just walked home from Birchmount and Lawrence to Neilson just too sad to sit in another vehicle.
Above all that happened, Alhamdulilah you are okay and thats the most important thing. Inshallah you’ll have another car, and you’ll fall in love with her as well.
wellllllllllllllllll.. there is nothing that i can do or say coco that will bring her back .. beauty of this generation couldn’t be put into words..
u r alive, u r kickin, THATS what matters.. its a good thing that u had nerves on u man.. not many people can avoid this kinda thing.. ON a hwy like 401..
but ya.. main thing.. ure alive and well… so go shopping for another car… or give it some time.. u know.. mourning period…
look at the bright side… u can still keep pinky in the garage… just sit in it… read a mag… maybe even sleep in it… oohhh the possibilities
a car is material. i almost got into an accident myself easily. i prayed more for my life than the life of my car. look at the bright side- now u get a new one!
yaaar narriyal miyaan... aap to theek hoo naa.. gaari kaa kya hai .. phir aa jaaiay gee aaj nahein to kul kull nahien to parsoon.. parsoon nahein to phir kisse dinn.. Allah kaa shukkar hai keh aap khaireeyat say ho... thats the main thing... khair aap ke gaari kaa sunn karr afsoos hoa.. Allah uss kay haal par reham karray aur uss ko jawaray rehmat main jaggay day..
Whoever said HONDA’s can’t sustain extensive damages. Here is proof that they can after the ordeal (read the top story) I’ve been through, this car is still in good condition but not worth repairing (repairs are $3000+) considering I don’t have insurance coverage.
