Sherwanis

Hi everyone,

I know there are a couple of threads on groom’s sherwanis. But I was hoping to get some other info from those who have been wedding shopping recently.

I’m looking for simple sherwanis for the bride’s brothers and father, ideally they should be without any kaam and a solid colour such as a dark gray or a charcoal.

Does anyone know of any places in Toronto that sell sherwanis that are not meant for the groom or a business in Pakistan that is able to ship to the Toronto area without overcharging? If anyone knows of any tailors or someone who sells pakistani clothes at home in the GTA who is able to get a sherwani made for a reasonable price that would be great as well.

I know how much sherwanis cost in Lahore but don’t know of any places that will ship it. I was able to get the groom’s sherwani from dulha street on mall road in Lahore but didn’t have enough time for the other ones.

Most of the sherwanis that I've seen available in GTA are those that are a little dressier and therefore intended for the groom.

If I were you I would contact one of the GS home-based designers in Pakistan and have them ship what you need.

Besides....getting a proper fit on a sherwani is critical and often such alterations are near impossible to perfect locally.
