im not much into sherwani’s for the groom, but im only seeing pictures of grooms wearing sherwani on the shadi days :s especially big NO NO to the pagri’s :s:s:s:s
I have seen suits on the valima day on this forum, but not on shadi…
whats ur thought on this??? what do u think :s
cud u post pictures of wedding days with the groom wearing a suit/tax or still sherwani but without the pagri…
**majority of people go for a sherwani on the wedding and a suit for the walima/reception
its a great way to combine both styles…rest is up to you
**
and like mentioned above, a suit may look too repetitive…
its different for us girls because we have a lot more choice; colours, cuts, kaam, etc
but poor old guys don’t exactly get much choice…
i’ve gone to bunch of wedding where the groom wore a suit, however they all just had one event not a shadi and waleema.. if you really want to wear a suits, then go for it! you could get a black suit for the shadi and black with white strips or a grey suit for the waleema…
you could also just wear a black sherwani.. something like this maybe? and i don’t think you have to wear something on your head if you don’t want to..
