I would have posted a pic of my own but it needs to be redone right now so not a good example of how it looks for the first couple of weeks.

When is the wedding? If you have a couple of months to go then start getting the shellac manicures now and continue with the regimen until you are ready to stop after the wedding. (I suspect you might even keep it up.) Starting now will help your nails to grow and you can get them to the ideal length that you may want for your mehndi/wedding look. If you have nails that are brittle or too soft and break easily then shellac will help you to grow them out eliminating the need for tips.

My nails are definitely brittle but they can grow for a bit before they just randomly break (which Is why I don’t want to risk natural nails at the wedding). I’m in a gaon basically right now for school so there’s no shellac place :S (I can’t believe places exist like this lol). I know this sounds bad (don’t judge me) but part of the thing is that I try to keep up with my namaz so I don’t typically get nail polish / acrylics. I really want acrylics for the wedding but I’d like to be able to take them off sooner rather than later because of the namaz issue. I REALLY dont want to paint my nails because I hate the way it looks.
