Sheikh Rashid forms ‘Awami Muslim League’

RAWALPINDI: Former Federal Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has resigned from the membership of Pakistan Muslim League-Q and announced the formation of his own party named ‘Awami Muslim League’ (AML).
Addressing a press conference at Lal Haveli, he also announced to withdraw his nomination papers from NA-55 Rawalpindi saying the next three months were very important in the national politics.
Sheikh Rashid said his party would reflect the will of the people of Pakistan. He said PPP and PML-N both disappointed people by not restoring the deposed judges.

I doubt it, Sheeda's specialty lies in allying himself with other powerful people. He is not meant to lead people, he just makes a good loyal deputy for a party leader who will go out and defend whatever he does.
