I've heard the song is doing real on charts.And from one of his interviews,I figured that he used saali not as javed sheikh's saali but as the one thats used as gaali. Shehzad did say that he wants his listeners to take the song lightely and he's used the word saali in the cultural context.
I am not a big fan of Shehzad roy but people need to get a life when they start taking such stuff so seriously.

Remember these songs get overnight popularity in teenagers and kidz. Using such footpaathiya slang will only do more damage to already Star-Plus affected kidz.

And where do my lil cousins and of course others, both here and in Pak, who DONONT watch paki channels or Star Plus catch the slang from. yes, they are too busy playing on the streets and playing video games, where they can learn the same slang, without having their parents ever know abt it. Not to mention that many parents themselves use slang lang with their kids.

Give this poor guy a break, If you all were in the same situation, you all be singing saali too. Its funny how the word saali can ruin young minds, when these very young minds are listening to 50 cent, kanye and missy elliot. If there was something to be stopped, stop the cursing in indian movies, thats what really is gettin to the kids.

Teeni/Mahnoor, its upto the parents who let their kidz listen to/watch these stuff or be in a company where they use these words as norm. Not in my circle atleast.
The point is....
you can control:----
-teach them the best salees language of shurafa
-watching Indian movies or watch selected ones with kidz (most people do that)
-what kind of video games kidz can play ( a must, I know one parent in my close circle who will read out or try himself the game he is buying for his 8 year old)
-who are their friends and their family background/habbits
But a funny song poping up on a Pakistani channel will catch more attention of your kidz and the word SAALI or likes become norm to them. Some years later he will be coming to you calling 'aur biroo kiya horelaa hai?' how would that sound!

Absolutely. The stuff these thumkaa-flicks are projecting is totally irrelevant to the Pak society and culture. They need to be stopped, and its the parents who have to take the full responsibility for exposing their kids to such crap-gutter-standard entertainment.

I think the song is perfectly fine. It sounds good and he looks good. :P
I think people should start opening their minds a bit more. With everything going on in the world all we can think about is who wrote what in their songs. And most of the ppl who are worried about their kids getting "exposed" to such "vulgar" language, they should have em not watch indian movies and not listen to hip hop crap.

Anyway, the thing is that hollywood still has a lot of choice (not like most indian movies where the girl has to shake her bum in rain in a sunflower field to give ‘masala’ to film… so fifties ).
And i don’t remember seeing any nude or controversial entertainment when I was young (unlike the case now in Pakistan) which is basically corrupting the basics of our newer generation and telling them all this is the true AND right stuff!

Read my post again. I said we can control on certain things ofcourse, and we do. But when ur watching a Pakistani Channel you expect it to be a family channel. Beside other vulgarity on these channel this is the latest addition, and since songs grows in kidz/teens very rapidly they adapt new things very quickly. In my circle, people don’t let their kidz listen to BET or HipHop.

well it IS a movie. seen maid in manattan?how to lose a guy? the sweetest thing? Hitched? …a very indian ishtyle drama to these hollywood flicks.
indian thumka movies are based on fantasies and thiermovie watching public demands it. just cuz its a ‘thumka’ and not a black lady with her as& cheeks hanging out in boyshorts in a hip hop rap video practically having sex on tv its worth rolling eyes at?.. they show the sky before the gal and guy move in for a kiss but you say hollywood movies that show lip-locks even in PG13 movies are ok?
so hollywood uses miniskirts, alchohol and different music for its masala…but it does use the ladies for masala nonetheless…
same applies to pakistan.

I dont think this is anything close to the actual vulgarity on these pakistani channels. I dont think Shehzad Roy is stupid enough to make a song with a gaali in it after what happened with nach punjaban. Which btw, I think was a very innocent song as well. And you dont know that kids in your circle dont listen to hip hop. All the kids who do listen to hip hop do you think it is their parents who allow them to listen to vulgar lyrics? I would think not. You dont know what they are listening to when you cant see them.
Anyhow, I still think there’s nothing “waahiyaat” about the song.
Imagine if he had made a song saying ‘saali punjaban’ 
, now that would be awful

Then you have a choice not ot watch that stuff! 
Plus, there are parental controls in america (missing in pakistan) and the more vulgar stuff is shown on channels late at night!
In pakistan, bachche se le kar burra sab dekh raha hai indian movies ko and the thing is that they have no sharam, hiya to admit it is wrong (to them it is right, like now the jang report that people in NWFP who so criticize america are now only preferring american relief goods?).
Theek hai, the stuff they show on american tv is no hiya-ful but one kiss is less to me than a whole song full of gyrating hips and asses for 3 hourse don’t you think?
