I guess everyone knows who Shehzad Roy is and if they don’t then they probably have been living in a hole (no offense guys). Even though he is kinda new to the music field he has quite a few fans. What I was thinking, why is that some people always feel this need to insult any one who is popular. Like a while ago, I was at this concert and Shehzad Roy was there and everyone loved his preformance and everything and there was this girl who was going totally balistic. So after the performance was over and everyone was leaving the place I bumped into her again. She was insulting him big time. I mean was she afraid that her friends would consider her less cool or something or what? And not just him all the singers, stars everyone. The other day I heard two guys saying that the BSB are gay. Can you believe it?
Rida
Its a different thing when you are a critic
and make comments about somone's musical aptitude, and its a different matter when
one starts calling a performer gay and stuff.
Shezaad Roy has little to offer to music though, He uses the same beat and essentially the same notes pretty much in each song. While I am not saying that he is horrible or
anything of the sort, but there are numerous Pakistani solo artists who are significantky better based on what they have to offer, Nadeem jaffery and Ali Haider for instance.
but then nadeem gets yelled all kinds of names due to his weight and Ali also hears the same Gay stuff. The funny thing is..
those who calls names are nobodies and these
guys have done pretty well for themselves.
There are some marvelous singers who did not release songs as they are busy with their careers.
anyone ever heard of Amir Agha, he is an MBA from IBA and was working for ICI, currently he had a role in some pakistani drama. He is an amazing singer but never released anything.
Second is Dr. Zaffar Iqbal ( not zaffri) from Dow Medical, currently in USA, who can sing
from ghazals to geets and just rocks.
The song "Kangna" by Shehzad Roy is a beautiful song.
yes Shahzad Roy definitely has to be given a lot of credit.
he launched his first ever single at the age of 18!if my memory is still afresh.
and after thet I think he went on to give some other good songs too.my favourites are:
"tu to mera humsafar hai"and
"sun lai ai khuda"...
