I don't like ANY of her products.. err shahrose, shahfair.. shah whatever they all seem to have aggravated a lot of people's skin. Her products aren't 100% herbal either.. I'd stay away :)
Usually when u're getting a facial done.. u're eyes are closed, u can't be sure what the person is putting on u're face. They might use one or two of her products.. but if u get a facial done, it's best to stick to the whole range of products. I don't reccomend Shahnaz Hussain :) none of her stuff has ever worked.. a lot of men tried her "hair revitalizer" that lead to more hairfall.
wishkamar, I met her at one of her salons in New Delhi. This was about 10 years ago. She had glowing skin and healthy hair but she really doesn't know how to dress well or gather her huge hair together nicely. Her beauticians recommended some acne stuff for me at that time. One product called Shazema I think...it's a cleanser like menthol type. It was good but the pimple drying lotion was horrible. Anyways, I have used a lot of her stuff based on recommendations of different people, but I must say that they are detriorating in quality. When she started she was pretty good, more pure I should say.
saw an article on her in the times. it said she applies 10 eggs in her hair everyday. her hair looked like crap in a profile picture in the magazine. and so did her skin. i know she's probably in her fifties but so are alot of other ladies and their skin/hair is much better than her. if she is to be taken as advertisement of her products then...um no thanks.
i do like her kajal bullet though. its pretty good.
I used to go to this lady who did facials at her home using Shahnaz Hussain's products. I enjoyed her facials. They were very effective and not only made my skin glow, they also faded out my acne scars. Anyhoo every time the lady's back was turned or she walked out the room, I'd try to get a glimpse of what products she was using exactly. But she always put her goods in a utensil......sneaky, sneaky. Well whatever she used.....she's awesome and it worked!
About Shahnaz Hussain.....It kinda annoys me how each of her products begin with "Sha." It's just the way that it sounds! Anyone else feel my pain?
But I guess it could be worse, like some of the other products i've heard of such as Tibet Snow.....and Fair and Lovely. I don't care much for lightening products but the latter seems to indirectly imply....dark and ugly.......and that's not cool at all!
Her creams do contain steroids.. and for a skin pratitioner it's easy to pick-out.. the "glow" is becuase of steroids :) there are no pearls.. diamonds or gold in any of her creams/lotions either.. but if u like it and it works for u :)
I get her gold facials - I don't know the products that they use but facials do wonders for my skin. It might be the facial not the products that are making it work for me.
I have not used any of her products. I think there are better products in the market
