Does anyone on gs has or is studying in Sheffield Univ or Manchester Univ? Any idea on which one is better? I got admission in both. will have to decide in the next few days on which one to join. I personaly think Manchester Univ is slightly better.
P.S: I am concerned about their Electronic Engineering departments.
Sheffield on no less than Manchester bot are good. In Pakistan people don't know much about Sheffield so in the eyes of Pakistanis Manchester is better because they recognize only what they know.

Go to Manchester most my friends went there and they like it :)

Go for whichever specialises in your chosen Industry.

well according to this uni guide, for electrical/eklectronic engineering manchester is ranked at 12, while sheffield is at #7, so I think u cant go wrong with either.

Thank you all. I think both are about the same standard. Manchester has an edge over Sheffield because of its more lively student life. So i think i am going to Manchester! Thank you all for your feedback.
